How to Play
La Taberna sticks to the good old-fashioned rules of slot gaming and boasts a very classic game setup.
You have only three reels and a single payline to play on, which is of course much less than in modern video slot games. Casino goers will be in familiar territory, though. A plethora of square-shaped buttons awaits you at the bottom of the game screen, ready to help you customise your game. The paytable is on permanent display on the right side of the screen, divided according to the number of coins you are putting into play. More coins evidently means bigger rewards at stake, so use the pink Bet button to bet either one, two or three coins on your next spin. Hit Play when you are ready, and hope for big wins. If you only miss a combination by one symbol, you get a free respin of that particular reel automatically.

Old-School Paytable
La Taberna sticks to the basics and offers a paytable based on combinations of symbols rather than on individual icons.
As such, you can start winning with combinations of Diamonds of any colour lined up on the reels, for instance. Other symbols included classic symbols such as Plums, Grapes, Oranges, Lemons and Bells.
The Diamonds themselves come in either Red, Blue or Green. The most valuable combinations of the game contain identical Diamonds lined up, and they can make you very rich if you are so lucky as to land several of them in a row.
Bonuses, Special Features and Layered Gameplay
La Taberna has more than a trick up its sleeve, and the game actually offers a totally innovative advanced gameplay.
The game award both credits, as any slot game would, and Bonus points when you land a Smoked Ham symbol on the reels. Once you have collected enough Bonus points, you can hit the Change Game switch to be taken to the upper reels. There, a whole new set of symbols including multi-coloured Sevens awaits you with a larger betting range. As always, higher risks mean higher rewards, and the stakes are really high once you are in the upper game. Each spin will use Bonus points, and you will be sent back to the main reels when you run out.
