Cashman Fever II Slot
Are you familiar with a fellow named Mr. Cashman? He’s been the star of numerous casino slot machines, but surprisingly, many players couldn’t pick him out of a lineup. On the other hand, if you’re from Australia, you’re probably quite used to playing pokies that feature this little coin that has been brought to life, bringing good fortune and big wins to gamblers across the reels of a number of real money slot machines.
The latest release for this fine gentleman is Cashman Fever II by Aristocrat. To be more accurate, this is actually a linked network with two different base games that take part in these features, with the actual slots being known as Hot Chocolate and Rotten Apple. But whichever game you play, you’ll start to look forward to the appearances of your little coin friend, who can do everything from pump up your reels to giving you a shot at winning four different jackpots in an exciting bonus game.
Here Comes the Cash
Whichever version of this game you play on, you’ll be dealing with a rather standard 4x5 five-reel machine with a clear but pretty simple theme: either the fruit-themed slot in the case of Rotten Apple, or if you choose Hot Chocolate, a candy-themed slot. The graphics are nice enough on either one, but don’t expect anything spectacular, as you’ll be dealing with some rather run-of-the-mill graphics and a pretty plain looking screen. Keep in mind that these games are only available for real money play; since you can’t try them at any casino online, there are no play for free options available at this time.
The object of the game is to match symbols from left to right across your active paylines. The basic symbols are the same on both Cashman Fever II video slot versions, as they are in most Aristocrat machines: the card ranks ranging from nines and tens up through kings and aces. When it comes to the higher value symbols, each game has its own set of more thematic choices for the larger prizes. For instance, you’ll see a range of chocolate bunnies, hard candies, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and romantic chocolate hearts for you to match while you play.
The Man Appears
You’ll have to compare the two versions for yourself to decide which one is better for you. However, the most important thing to look out for when you play Cashman Fever II will appear on both variations: Mr. Cashman himself. He’s the trigger for a ton of special features and bonus rounds, making him a very lucrative character to run into.
For instance, he can show up at any time and make each reel expand to five or six positions instead of the normal four, greatly increasing the number of ways in which you can win. He could also decide to instantly change a couple of your lower-value symbols into wilds on a couple of different reels. Alternately, he might duplicate a symbol in order to create instant wins across the screen.
As is traditional in this line of slot machines, you’ll especially want to find the Cashpot icons. These scatter symbols can trigger a special bonus round if you can find five or more on the screen at once. In this game, you’ll have the opportunity to pick spots on a grid in an effort to win one of four progressive jackpots: the mighty, mega, jumbo, and super prizes. These awards are actually adjusted based on the size of your wager: while you can win them by playing just 50 coins per spin, you’ll win five times as much if you bet the full 200 coins instead (with several intermediate levels in between). This gives both low limit and high limit gamblers a chance to win a jackpot, but still gives you an incentive to make the max bet.
A Legend Returns to Casinos
Mr. Cashman is one of the classic slots figures in the industry, and it is always great to see him come back in a new game. This latest appearance offers up more of what players have always loved about these titles: the opportunity to enjoy a feature-rich experience with plenty of chances for high-paying bonus games, progressive jackpots, and much more. The Cashman Fever II video slot machines are designed to be as player friendly as possible, and we think they’ll be just as successful as previous incarnations of this series.
