In some respects it’s too simplistic to label this a scratchcard , as it combines elements of the two to create very unique gameplay. What is more, it takes a lot of inspiration from console games to create a story that you actually feel a part of.
The game will explain what has happened for you, but we’ll be sure to set the scene once we get cracking with this review, as without it the dynamics of the title are totally lost. What we can reveal, before we go galavanting into space, is that a lot of money can be won with Baa Wars, up to €100,000. These sheep will do anything to get their money back, and clearly by any means necessary.
Distant Planets
Having had a lot of gold stolen by a big ol’ mean wolf, who wants to spend their money on mega evil inventions like sheep crushing robots, the sheep of this suicide squad are pursuing the beast from planet to planet. Nobody steals from them and gets away with it.
These planets are light years away, and they all have different atmospheres which the whole team need to adjust to before they go shooting down into craters. Yes, you read that right. You fire your team out of cannons and into a series of craters, all in the hope that the right sum of money is hidden beneath the ground.
Each of the planets you’ll jet off to (should you progressively work your way through all of them) will give you different maximum payouts, meaning that the fun can be increased should you become tired with your initial experience.
Oh, Brave Little Sheep
When the game has finished running you through the basics of the story, and you’ve selected which planet is first up on your hitlist, it’s time to fire those sheep into the unknown. Several of the crew have volunteered and will be whizzing their way down to the surface at lightening speeds.
