Midnight Rush Slots

Stakelogic don’t seem to be able to stay away from the horror genre; not only have they created the creepy slot of Lord of Darkness, they’ve also developed Midnight Rush. Even though these two games are from the same brand, and have the same theme, they’re totally different aesthetically. You’re able to go from one title to the other without feeling a sense of deja vu.

This ghostly real cash slot is set in a graveyard, where orange brown trees frame the eerie atmosphere of this local haunt (see what we did there). Once you’ve set your bet, real or otherwise, you’ll be able to try for a pick me bonus level, as well as some whopping multipliers. As far as features go, this isn’t the biggest that the company can offer, but they’ve done a sterling job of immersing users into this horror soaked experience.

Surprise!

When it comes to beefing up your payouts, the best way of doing it is by landing a multiplier, but that isn’t easy when you’re matching symbols. But oh wait, you don’t have to do that with Midnight Rush. Instead of making combinations, you just have to watch as the multiplier bar flickers through the options until it lands on one of them. That happens every time you click the spin button, meaning you can sometimes land a multiplier worth x6 of the cash prize.

Even though this is a great random event for customers to savour, the fact that you never know where it’ll land means that you don’t get as many big payouts as you’d like. That being said, given how tough it can be when making a winning combo, it’s probably better to have a random feature than one that you have to trigger manually. Both of them are hit and miss occurrences, but the at least the random one lands every time, even if it’s not a large win.

Monster Bash

The ghouls come out on more nights of the year than most, thanks to Monster Money created by WGS. Made up of 25 paylines inside a conventional 3x5 grid, this game is similar to Midnight Rush in so many ways, and yet the aesthetic helps you feel like you’re getting a totally new experience.

Speaking of experiences, WGS’s title has a feature that Midnight Rush doesn’t, and that’s that the wilds can land on all five of the reels. This means that getting a substituted win is more likely to happen in Monster Money than this one, which is great if you’re looking to up the stakes after you’ve played with Stakelogic.

Full Moon

Let’s move onto the bonus level shall we? This is a hands on feature, even though no skills or prep are needed for you to be successful. Called the Click Me Bonus, the name of the game is rather unimaginative, but that doesn’t mean you should overlook the quality of the payouts that you can receive.

You’ll need to get either three, four or five of the full moon symbols on the active winlines, which will then lead you into being able to select all the corresponding symbols on the matrix. All you need to do is keep revealing what’s hidden under the icons until you get the ‘Collect’ sign. In terms of engagement, this isn’t one of the best we’ve come across, however that doesn’t mean it should be undervalued. In reviews we tend to favour flashier specials, but sometimes the more simpler ones stand the test of time, as Midnight Rush clearly demonstrates.

This Might Hurt

When it comes to slot machines, a lot of them are challenging, though some are more taxing than others. According to the information related to this real cash slot, the RTP is approximately 96.63%, which is a considerable percentage, and yet winning seems to be difficult to achieve. During our playthrough we got about two wins, both of which were on the lower end of the spectrum.

In short, you’ve got a medium boarding on high volatility title on your hands, meaning that you need to have a lot of money to keep on playing, even if you play with the minimum stake available. The lowest payment is just 0.10, which isn’t that steep, but if you have to keep putting that down because of how much you lose, it’ll eventually start to add up.

What a Rush

Midnight Rush is an middling slot machine that can give you reasonable payouts, if you’re willing to spend time and money in making those victories happen. In regards to the dynamics of the game, they’re much more varied than Lord of Darkness, which means that if you found yourself losing interest, that’s less likely to happen here. Nonetheless, there’s no escaping the fact that you’ll eventually become bored. That’s just the way this slot was made to pan out.
