Super Graphics Super Lucky Slots

Super Graphics Super Lucky is a 3-reel, non-progressive video slot with five fixed pay-lines. The name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but the game itself is pleasant enough. Developed by British software specialist Realistic Games, Super Graphics Super Lucky is rather wacky in nature, with a theme that sits somewhere between Japanese manga and pub fruit machine. While Mount Fuji lurks behind the icons, the symbols themselves include fat lemons, golden bells and ripe tomatoes.

Like many slots from Realistic Games, Super Graphics Super Lucky is playable in a format which suggests you are in a real live casino. The symbols occupy reels which themselves are framed by a simulacrum of a slot machine. You can even discern other slot machines in the near distance, as well as a patterned carpet underfoot. For complete immersion in the game, just command your other half to bring you complementary drinks as you spin the reels.

At a Glance

Super Graphics Super Lucky has been released on mobile, desktop and tablet platforms, allowing you to take part wherever you are in the world. It is the sister version of Super Graphic Upside Down, a smash-hit 5-reel slot from the same developer. Indeed, the character icons from that game return for this sequel.

Despite the name, the graphics aren’t especially super. As stated, the symbols will be familiar to you. There are bells, lemons, tomatoes and grapes. There are watermelons and oranges and red 7s. The audio, meanwhile, is completely forgettable – the kind of cheery, chirpy soundtrack that has you reaching for the mute button within seconds.

The animations, on the other hand, are pretty decent. As the reels spin, the landscape in the background changes, as if a camera is sweeping from left to right. We see snow-capped mountains, meadows and pink blossom trees. When you hit a capsule, the icon appears enlarged before bursting to reveal a character symbol. As ever, you can regulate your bet-per-line and check out the Info tab at the bottom of the screen. The coin sizes range from 0.25 to 50, and only one is permitted per line. The return-to-player percentage is 95.35%.

Base and Bonus Games

Super Graphics Super Lucky includes both a base game and a bonus game, each of which gives you the chance to win cash. The base game couldn’t be any easier. All you have to do is match winning combinations, from left to right, to trigger pay-outs. Spin the reels manually, or take advantage of the autoplay function, and pray that your luck is in.

A quick glance at the pay-table reveals that the red 7s are the best-paying symbol. If you manage to land three at once, you’ll scoop the x250 grand prize. Three oranges is x3, three lemons x2 and three tomatoes x1. The watermelon is the game’s second best, granting x20 for three. It’s x5 for three bells and x4 for the bunch of grapes.

While the game does not include a wild icon, the aforementioned blue-and-green capsule keeps things interesting. Simply land three on an active pay-line and you’ll trigger a bunch of free spins. The initial allocation is a dozen spins, plus the total stake. The free spins take place on an alternate set of reels.

Every time a capsule icon appears on the central reel, the multiplier for the grand prize will increase by 1x. Every subsequent capsule will also crack open to reveal one of the three characters to the left of the reels. These include a lucky cat and two manga-like female characters. Simply collect all three to win 250x your total stake.

At the conclusion of the free game, the total win will be multiplied by the last multiplier value obtained. Theoretically it could be x12, but it’s far more likely to be x3 or x4. Anything can happen, though.

Super, or Not?

Super Graphics Super Lucky is a decent enough 3-reel video slot. It will probably appeal most to fans of Japanese manga or anime, given the nature of the character symbols. Its groovy colours and simple gameplay also make it rather agreeable. But overall, there’s not a whole lot to get excited about. This is no better than other simple Realistic Games slots like Money Matrix. The pay-table offers mostly trifling sums, and though it’s easy to trigger the free spins, it’s harder to land all three character symbols.
