The Graphics Within the Package

The beauty of OXO video slots is in its simplistic gameplay, however the graphics and colour scheme are also, unfortunately, simplistic. Although the theme of this game does not require any high-end 3D effects or state of the art graphics, the colours and graphics utilised are quite dull. In fact, the colour scheme of this video slot game is actually black and grey. This can make gameplay sometimes feel monotonous and boring, almost like watching a black and white television after using a high definition smart television.

With all of this in mind, OXO could definitely use some colour in its layout.

Is Oxo Easy to Play?

OXO is very easy to play. Even the newest of casino players should catch on right away or by the first couple spins. OXO only utilises two symbols, the x and o, and a blank space. Paylines are clearly mapped and there are only 3 winning combinations. It would be hard pressed to find a slot game that is any more simplistic in nature.

Is Oxo Made by a Reputable Company?

Tom Horn is a privately owned company that has several casino games under their belt that are utilised by many different casinos. It is hard to find any bad reviews about Tom Horn gaming on the internet, which is always a plus.

Does Oxo Have Jackpots?

OXO does not have any jackpots, or special features other than the blank reel win for that matter. There are no wild symbols or scatter symbols. The maximum players can win in the game is 300x the original bet by spinning three blank reels.

Some players may not like this, but many will enjoy its simplistic nature and ease of play.

Parting Thoughts

OXO video slots by Tom Horn is not necessarily a good game or a bad game, much like its dull colour scheme, it is in a gray area.

Players who are looking for a no-nonsense simplistic game that is easy to play will take great satisfaction in OXO video slots simplicity. Some players do not like to remember 20 symbols with scatter features and wild symbols, so those players will enjoy a game that only contains 3 symbols to keep up with.

However, players who enjoy a more immersive game with several different options of winning and specialties like jackpots, scatter features and bonus games, will probably not enjoy the basic simplicity of this title.

Three-reel slots by nature are simplistic, but OXO video slots take that simplicity to the next level. Most traditional 3-reelers, both online and in brick and mortar casinos, usually have several symbols to choose from with many different ways to win. Not so with OXO, as there are only 3 possible winning combinations comprised of different arrangements of only two symbols. The third symbol (if you can even call it that) is simply a blank spot that can trigger a special win if the entire reel is comprised of these blank spaces.

Even though the special win is bland, it does pay out quite nicely with 300x the original bet.

In conclusion, is OXO a good game? It depends on the player who is playing it and what they are looking for. If players want a no frills, basic game that is easy to play and has low variance, then yes, OXO is a fantastic game. If any of that does not appeal to you, you may want to look at another title.
