Vegas Slots - Play Online

Real Vegas Style Slot MachinesIf you are like us, you enjoy playing slots especially the real Vegas style games like The Walking Dead, Sex and the City and Betty Boop. This site focuses on slot machines from Bally, IGT, WMS and Aristocrat. We update daily, so if a new game is out for the general public, you can expect to find the review here.

Slots are slots. If you’re used to playing them in a brick and mortar casino, you’re not going to have any trouble adapting to their online cousin. The process is the same: insert your money, select your paylines and bet, followed by hitting the spin button.

What you will notice, though, is that the online slot games are more convenient. It takes mere seconds to swap machines, and you don’t even have to worry about someone hogging a particular machine, acting obnoxious (drunk) or blowing smoke in your face. You can even swap casinos if you need to. Online casinos are also cheaper to deposit to, and you can play for free if you’re not capable of, or willing to play with money.

The bottom line? Online slots are like brick and mortar slots in nearly every way, with additional benefits. If you’re a fan of these money sucking machines then I recommend giving their online counterpart a shot. But first, start with this page. Learn about all the different games you can play.

Our site also offers sections for online players. We offer 50+ free slot games. The free games page includes some of the best made slots for online players and all of the games load instantly in your browser. You will also find sections relating to where to play 3D slots, high limit & low limit games (such as penny slots) as well as real money sites. Mobile Slots: Play On The Go

One area that is growing rapidly in gaming is mobile. In fact, the mobile gaming industry is estimated to reach $54 billion by 2015. Online gambling, and slots in specific, aren’t an exception. More than 13 million people play (social) casino games every month.

It makes sense to play on your phone or tablet, too. You can’t always make the trip to your local casino, let alone to Las Vegas or Atlantic City. And even when you do, it’s not like you can pack a slot machine with you when you leave. So the next best thing is to play on your smartphone or tablet. And fortunately for you, slots make up the majority of the games available at each casino. You can play slots on your iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Some casinos will have Windows and Blackberry slots as well. As time goes and mobile continues to grow, I only expect there to be more compatible slots apps available. Getting started is real simple, too. You’ll either download the slots app from the casino or the app store. At some casinos you might have the option to download the casinos’ slots game via a QR code or text message, too. You’ll need to visit the casino of your choice for more details. Use the guide below to find out which casinos offer apps compatible with your device. You can play for free or real money. The choice is entirely up to you.

Types of Slot Machines

You’ll find the same types of slot machines online that you will live. Here are the most common options:

  • Classic Slots – These are the 3-reel mechanical (looking) slots. There are multiple payouts. You can even pull the big handle on the side.
  • Video Slots – These more or less resemble a video game. These come in a 5, 7 and sometimes 9 reel variety, have multiple lines (more than 50+), bonus reels and rounds. Examples of popular video slots include Bally's Quick Hit as well as Sugar Pop, the Candy Crush like slot game.
  • Progressive Slots – Progressive slots are where millionaires are made (think Fort Knox slots). You pay the full amount, and a portion of your wager will contribute to a larger and ever-growing pool. To win the jackpot you will need to hit the special combination. The jackpot will grow until someone does.
  • 3D Slots – 3D slots are similar to video slots, but with a more in-depth, 3-dimensional look and feel.

In addition to these you will come across casinos and/or software providers that have exclusive, one-off machines. One example comes from Realtime Gaming – they have what’s known as their Real Series slot machines. What’s special about these are their jackpots, which award prizes at random.

Free Slots: Where Online Casinos Distinguish Themselves

One of the areas that online slots distinguish themselves from their brick and mortar counterparts is that you can play for free. Online casinos are able to offer free games because they aren’t limited in space like B/M casinos are. In other words, you’re not taking up space a paying customer could. It doesn’t cost them anything extra to allow you to play for free, and they figure if you play for free long enough, you might convert to a real money customer in the future.

You can play most slot games, variations and themes for free including some of the big names like Star Trek, Monopoly, Twilight Zone and others. That includes 3-reel slots, video slots, games with bonus rounds, etc. The only slots that you can’t play for free, for sure, are progressive slots. Many of them are on a network, and they don’t want a jackpot triggered by a free money spin.

But why would you want to play for free? Why not play for real money?

Everyone will have their own reasons. I think one of my reasons for playing free would be to test the casino’s software. Does it work well? Is it fast? Do they have the games, themes and features I want? For other people, though, the reasons can come down to not trusting online casinos, not wanting to gamble or just wanting to play a quick game or two with what little downtime they might have. Real money slots aren’t for everyone.
