The game itself looks like it comes straight out of one of the Nordic countries, with players getting that look and feel that oozes Scandinavia. The game features reel symbols that include horses, eagles, jewels, horns, eagle talons, waterfalls, volcanoes, mountain lions, and a Norse Goddess herself. The artwork in the game is very sharp, and really oozes style. Additionally the game also has a very smooth animation set, as the reels just seem to flow like water. I was a huge fan of the game’s Expanding Wilds, which can take up an entire reel and can set off a huge series of wins. These are present in the Norse Goddess as well as the Volcanoes, both of which netted positive returns many times for me.
Feature wise the game includes the Free Spins round that I briefly touched on above, and the game has three different ways in which they can be triggered. The first of these rounds is through uncovering 3 Scatter Bonus Symbols, which sets off 10 Free Spins; the second way is to uncover 4 Scatter Bonus Symbols, which sets off 25 Free Spins; and the third is to uncover 5 Scatter Bonus Symbols, which sets off 100 Free Spins. These Free Spin rounds are very beneficial to players, giving them many chances to hit some big wins. For me, the big wins were relatively rare on the Free Spins rounds, but the small wins accumulated nicely and I was able to walk away ahead almost every time that I have played this game at my local land casino.
