That being said, while still offering several of its own unique features, this game manages to pay sufficient homage to its source material. Batman & Mr Freeze Fortune game draws mostly from the campy 1960s movie featuring Adam West. As can be, expected it is lovingly cheesy and self-referential all throughout.

Plenty of homages and references to the show can be seen, and older fans of the series will be delighted by the nostalgic throwback this game represents. Overall, while hammy, the design of Batman & Mr Freeze Fortune has a certain nostalgic appeal.

With Batman & Mr Freeze Fortune the wild symbol is the Batman logo, and it replaces any symbol on the reels (save for the scatter), making a winning combination more likely. Batman, Robin and Mr Freeze all serve as scatter symbols, as these can appear anywhere and getting at least two will trigger additional bonuses.

This game makes use of a rather unusual 5x4 reel system. The centre reels also have what is called the Polar Prize Vault. This randomly triggers to reveal a number of different prizes depending on what combinations you land. One of the prizes is a multiplier wild; it functions just like a normal wild symbol except that it multiplies the winnings of any spin you receive. These multipliers stack too – getting a 2x and 3x makes it a 6x.

You can also get a straight win multiplier, an extra Mr Freeze symbol on the reels as well as what are known as “Wild Mr Freeze Spins”. This causes the reels to keep spinning until you get a winning combination. During this time the wilds stay in place, and as long as you get new wilds during these spins the reels will keep going.
