Sharks, Sharks and… Sharks

Theme wise you will find absolutely no surprises here, as the name tells you exactly what this Pariplay title is based upon. While other games may have dabbled in similar themes, this is actually the only official Sharknado slots game in existence. Looking at the graphics used, the production values here are lofty to say the very least. The game is set against a backdrop of shark infested water, complete with jumping shark animations to boot, while the Sharknado logo is pinned to the top left-hand corner of the screen for good measure.

What’s on the reels in this game works to keep the theme of Sharknado rolling. Solidifying the title as an officially licensed release, the cast of the game is out in full force. Including the likes of Nova Clarke (Cassie Scerbo) and April Wexler (Tara Reid), you can’t fault the overall look of the icons in this game.

Feeling the Snap

The core numbers in Sharknado show that there are 3 rows, 5 reels, and 25 paylines in play for slots fans to enjoy. Going further into what Pariplay has crafted here, Sharknado comes with a noticeably fair 95.95% RTP attached to it, which certainly matches up to its medium variance status. Wager wise, Sharknado is a budget friendly title, as betting starts out at 0.25, with the max wager capped at just 12.50 per spin. Admittedly, this release is anything but a haven for high rollers, but if you look at the numbers, we don’t think that it was ever intended to be.

Bonuses Swirl

Sharknado certainly has an enjoyable base game, but it’s the two key special features within its reels that help push it over the top. At random times a helicopter will hover around the screen, with it dropping a nuke. If it hits the reels, a wave of additional wilds will head your way. The second big bonus feature in this game is Sharknado mode, which whips up an amazing storm of free spins, multipliers, and more.

Delving Deep

It would probably be a little too easy for us to point you the in the direction of other shark-themed games, but we’ve decided to think a little bigger than that. Those who want to remain within the realm of water-themed action should certainly throw out a line for Lucky Koi. From Microgaming, this game matches Sharknado, just with a few additional bonus retriggers included.

The second game we think fans of Sharkando should look towards is actually another officially licensed release. I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here is yet another game from Microgaming, with it certainly qualifying as one of the better-licensed games out there. Upping the ante on the payline front, this game features a whopping 40 for players to make use of.

Plenty of Bite!

Sharknado is one of the silliest films of all time, as it went from being a serious action movie to a laugh a minute affair in a flash. The same can be said of the slot game adaptation, as it meshes together serious slots action with one of the silliest game themes we’ve seen in some time. Fun in pretty much every aspect, if you’re after a film-based game that is going to scratch that online slots itch, Sharknado is worth spinning the reels of!
