Setting the Scene

Indian Myth resides on the calm still waters of a lake, a selection of architectural wonders hiding in the background, much of their shape in silhouette. Providing one of the most romantic backdrops imaginable, you will be able to rest in a bed of flowers, your mind able to drift along at a leisurely pace.

During your time contemplating, you’ll be visited by several symbols, some of which are inspired by the game itself, while others will be dressed up card suits bringing in a variety of money but no variation in style. All in all, it’s an attractive picture that’s been painted for us, but does it live up to its aesthetics?

Myth Busting

Before we go any further, we need to explain that the game doesn’t live up to the hype. It looks good and has features we know we like, but the fact that it has no innovation beyond its graphics gives it a poor start. Indian Myth is being busted open and exposed before we’ve even had the chance to explain the bonuses; that should tell you something.

The game has the exact same Adventure Feature that Iceland has, right now to it sharing the same name and same win amounts - not one bit of it has be altered to adapt to the theme. This feels like laziness on Spade Gaming’s part, for creating something only slightly different wouldn’t have been all that difficult given their experience. We suppose if you want the same gameplay but different graphics then Indian Myth will work out well for you, but we’re not that type of player.

Disappointed though we evidently were, we wanted to get the 8 wins of the scatters, and so we started off by getting between three or five of those tiles upon our active winlines. After that, we had to sit and hope that the wild would land on the third reel and then replicate onto another, with its x3 multiplier making any wins a lot more pleasing.

Spare Change

Players quite literally only need spare change in order to start playing Indian Myth, which is where this game starts to claw back its dwindling appeal. By keeping the bet value at only 0.01, and staking no more than 1 credit on each of the 50 lines, players have a stake no larger than 0.50. Of course, they can choose to aim for the maximum bet whenever they like, though the value of the coins won’t be changed without input from you.

Autoplay rounds are open to those who require them, as is a faster spins feature for busy bees that demand speed in everything that they do. Both of these add-ons can be turned on and off at your convenience, which means you get to customise your game throughout the experience and not just at the beginning.

Forget the Return Flight

Honestly? We won’t be making a return trip to Indian Myth again. There just doesn’t seem much point. We got this experience from Iceland, and that was enough for us.
