The interface has been kept to a minimum in this title, with the various buttons decorated by a gold finish on either end. Everything you need is at the bottom of the screen, with the Lobby widget being the only exception.
Assuming you’re playing with the most amount of winlines, you’ll have a first bet worth a minimum of €0.50. This amount is quite small, and so you may feel the need to increase your wager slightly, though it’s doubtful that many will choose to play with the full €60 stake. If that is the sum of money you wish to use, make it easier on yourself and click the Max Bet option. It’ll do the rest.
Seeing as no game would be complete without an automatic spin option, Diamond has kindly included one, positioned next to the big diamond encrusted Spin button. Players can choose between a selection of specified rounds, or they can choose the infinity symbol and have the feature go on indefinitely.
There seems to be a pattern with 777igt titles: they like to put symbols in that don’t belong, in Astrospace they had the Ironman mask and in Diamond they have the Superman logo. Neither one has any place among the designs, but they’re included anyway, which seems like a poor choice to us. Even a generic diamond painted a different colour would have been better than a superhero logo in this instance.
Thankfully, the prizes that can be won from that symbol and the others, is less than confusing - as much as x200 can be won during the base game. This top figure comes from CEO tile. And yes, you’ve seen that symbol used before as it made an appearance in Black Final; essentially that game and this one are the same.
As ever, a bonus round can be won here, as well as some free spins, making this game all too familiar for our liking. We wanted something new to latch onto but got given the same as always. It’s probably the worse part of the 777igt company: they never ever deviate from the same old format, which of course leads to boredom and disappointment.
In all honesty, Diamond can keep its money and jewellery, for we have no time for them. We’d rather play an original and fresh title for lower payouts than one that never adapts with the times. Diamond will be one of 777igt’s many titles that becomes outdated in short order, the format and design all too alike, never delivering anything different.
What makes this game particularly bad is that it’s almost identical to one of their others; it feels rushed. This isn’t an online activity we’d recommend, and so if you have the urge to play it, maybe just try the demo version instead.
