As well as the themed icons, the game includes a couple of familiar playing card symbols. These shiny icons comprise a 9, a 10, a jack, a queen, a king and an ace. The 9 pays two for two, five for three, 25 for four and 100 for five. The 10, J and Q are lumped together in the pay-table, granting five for three, 25 for four and 100 for five. The other two pay 10 for three, 50 for four and 125 for five.

The open shell icon is the scatter. The shell, in the centre of which lie three glimmering pearls, pays 20 for two, 50 for three, 200 for four and 5,000 for five. It is also linked with free spins; all you need to do is land three or more to win 15 complimentary spins. Not only that, but all wins during free spins are multiplied by three. The free spins can also be re-triggered during free spins. All credits bet are the same during free spins as the game that activated the feature.

Wild Dolphin includes a gamble feature, which lets you try and double up your winnings after any regular win. All you need to do is determine whether the face-down card on the table is black or red. Your winnings are doubled if you guess correctly, while they are wiped out if you guess wrong.
