The sneak peek we have had of bloopers indicates nothing has changed, which in this case is a good thing. The graphics are incredible and fully 3D, the audio encompassing and the theme rock solid. There is a realistic CGI background of a Hollywood set to play with and the reels have been done as film reels which is a cute touch that brings the reel visuals up to par with the rest of the game, something many titles can’t do.

We have two main human characters on the game, a Hollywood hunk and his blonde bombshell leading lady. Things get interesting from there on in, instead of further people type characters used for the backroom technicians, Elk studios have created a group of fun cartoon creatures who remind us very much of the minions. There is the quiet submissive sound engineer, the precise film cutter, a brave stuntman, ditzy makeup artist and what we assume to be the director flying around with a rocket pack!

There are also low pay playing card symbols to be found so it looks like there will be a wide variety of potential win combinations, a scatter features as a bonus trigger in the form of replicas of Hollywood star icons from the classic walkways of Hollywood Boulevard. We also saw a director’s cut board, we don’t know as yet if that triggers a second type of bonus such as free spins or if it is simply another pay symbol.

Elk are being very cagey about exact gameplay, we know for a fact that the base game and one of the bonus games is a 5x3 reel/row format but we don’t know if this is going to be a paylines game like ‘The Lab’ or a 243 ways to win slot like their other titles, the lack of numbered lines towards the latter.

The bonus scatter appears to award extra credits at three plus on the reels, further they can feature some of the cartoon backstage staff on the image, this, is hopefully a bonus enhancing trigger like extra wilds or multipliers.
