Irish Luck is an alluring game, presented in bright colours and featuring many touchstones of modern video slots. The 5x3 board, which each reel separated from the other by ropes of gold, sits in the foreground of a country field on a summer’s day, with a rainbow arching overhead at the top of the screen. The green-and-gold title sits above the reels, with a golden shamrock sandwiched between each word.

The control panel is featured along the bottom of the screen. This is where you’ll find buttons for Gamble, Bet Max, Bet Per Line, Lines, Auto Start and Info. Take a moment to get accustomed to the controls before you play, but in truth, it won’t take long.

Betting particulars

Irish Luck offers pleasing betting flexibility, with players able to decide their coin denomination from eight values between 0.01 and 5.00. Up to ten coins can be wagered per pay-. The luck of the draw

The object of the game is simple: find matching combinations of symbols on active paylines from left to right. Symbols include a shamrock, a Celtic knot, a lucky horseshoe, a harp, a love heart ring, a bag of gold and a bunch of shiny green playing cards, from 9 to ace. There’s also an icon of a fetching, Celtic-looking redhead. As you play, you’ll be entertained by the jaunty traditional Irish soundtrack.

The aforementioned temptress is the game’s wild icon, and as such, she can substitute for other symbols (except the pot of gold) to furnish players with pay-outs. The wild is stacked and grants pay-outs in its own right. The sums are 10 for two, 250 for three, 2,500 for four and 10,000 for five in a line. The wild doubles all other wins in which she is involved. When this occurs, the flame-haired female can be seen standing in a sun-drenched field, with butterflies fluttering roundabout. She’s a sight for sore eyes, make no mistake.

Other high-paying symbols to watch out for include the golden horseshoe and love heart ring. These ones have matching values in the pay-table, with a top pay-out of 750 for five in a line. It’s 125 for four, 25 for three and two for two.

The pot of gold is the scatter. As well as being responsible for modest pay-outs (two for two, five for three, 20 for four and 500 for five), the scatter triggers the bonus round, during which you can be rewarded to the tune of 33 free games and a multiplier of x10. Three or more pot icons prompts a smirking leprechaun to push pots of gold across the centre before the bonus game initiates. At this point, you’ll start with eight free spins with a x2 multiplier, but as stated, you can win more spins and multipliers in the course of the feature. All you need to do is choose the correct pots of gold. Scatters can re-trigger the bonus feature during free spins.

Irish gamble

After hitting a win, a player can decide to gamble his hard-won lucre and potentially double his balance. The player simply has to choose whether the next card drawn from the deck will be black or red. A correct choice doubles the pay-out, while an incorrect choice leads to the player losing his loot.
