In terms of looks, A While on the Nile is a nice game that feels very appropriate in terms of trying to bring Ancient Egypt to your screen. I love the pyramid symbols, as well as the Egyptian gods, and blue scarab. I like the way that Nextgen Gaming’s production team developed this game, and I think it is one of their better looking online titles. Animations are nice as well, with the game moving as smooth, and I never experienced any sort of lag with this game in my 25 minute test session. I was very impressed with the entire presentation of A While on the Nile, and I think you will enjoy it as well.
Gameplay
A While on the Nile is a 5 reel, 50 pay line video slot that includes a slot machine bonus which allows you to get “free” multiple slot spins. If you love slot machine bonus rounds you have found the right machine. I feel that these bonuses add a lot to the game, and give it the perfect balance.
I played A While on the Nile for 25 minutes moving between different coin denominations, beginning with a $50 bankroll that was slowly eaten away by the small payouts on the 50 lines before suddenly hitting a wild scatter symbol and Free Spin feature that would end up building me back up. In the end I came out ahead, finding my ending balance at $97 due to the Free Spins round. I had a bunch of fun and ended up with a little extra cash.
