From the screenshots we have so far the visuals on this game won’t disappoint, the reels have an animated blood mist surrounding them and sit atop a backdrop of a haunted vampire landscape featuring what would appear to be the vampire characters tomb, expect all the usual classic vampire imagery, bats, headstones and Victorian style dress feature prominently – Bram Stoker would be proud of the RTG game designers.

Symbol wise I love what they have done with the stock playing card low value icons, adding to the creepy aura by etching them on headstones thud down on the reels. The three title characters and their respective individually jewellery count as the high pay symbols whilst the games log appears as a wild. A coin (we think it is a coin – it could be the moon this was a brief screenshot) forms the games scatter whilst a blood filled heart indicates the games unique life force meter multiplier.

Most modern all ways games feature a bonus round, rather than a simple pick a win round featured on games like the soon to be released Golden Fish Tank, RTG have introduced a slightly more unique option which seamlessly fits in the game theme. As with many games 3 or more scatter symbols issue free spins – 10 in this case – but here it gets weird. Before the spins start a secret multiplier value is hidden behind the games life-force meter and revealed only once the spins complete. If the hidden value is worth more than your free spins win, more spins are played one at a time until the win exceeds that value – the bonus meter rises from x1 to x10 your initial bet and the life force value can be up to a 1000x multiplier!

A null spin triggers a second feature, now the games stacked wilds on reel 2 and 4 come into play, combining with the 243 ways to win structure and providing a 3x multiplier in their own right for some potentially huge combination wins.

Even a brief preview of this game shows big potential both for exciting gameplay and lots of volatility in wins. We can’t wait to play it for real and though love may not be eternal this Valentine’s Day, this RTG release will be more than distraction enough for most of us. Either way as the internet memes say it is still a better love story than Twilight!
