    Shamrock Bingo

There’s an old saying that some people have ‘the luck of the Irish’ and with the free Shamrock Bingo game from nJoy Interactive, this phrase could have a ring of truth about it for you. What is striking when the game first loads is the glorious rich shamrock green colour with a flock pattern of the whole play area. There’s lively music with a rocking edge and tin whistle for that authentic Irish sound. Four bingo tickets are on the screen and these are spread out into the 4 corners. Each one is edged with golden twists of twine.

The middle of the screen is where the balls are released into the checking area, and along the bottom is the control panel and where players keep tabs on their balance and total bets. Each ticket can have a wager placed on it of 1 to 30 credits and the bet is shown along the top. The high roller gamblers with big starting balances will probably be looking to play with all 4 tickets at 120 max bet. Tactically this is one of the best options for winning as it gives the greater chance to mark off more numbers at one time.

    Winning Ways

The many ways to win are shown in a pay table section just under the checking area. The tickets are set out in 5 columns with 3 rows, and this is reflected in the patterns shown in green. So for example, playing stakes at the high limit will yield a payout of 45,000 if a full house is made to shout Bingo! The machine has 90 balls and as play begins, 30 of these balls are randomly released and collected in a checking area. Because this is online bingo, players don’t have to manually mark each number on a ticket as it’s all done automatically which is good news as that saves a lot of time.

Any successful patterns are coloured in green on the ticket. If a pay way is close to a payout that number will flash on the ticket to show what might have been won. If the machine thinks there is a good chance to win, it will throw open extra balls that may contain the required number. These extras can vary from game to game, but for Shamrock Bingo there are 10 of them.

    The Price Is Right

Occasionally in the extra balls there will be a free one allowed with a shamrock ball, but all the others will cost credits to buy them. This is where the machine gives a hint to the player of how much each wanted number is worth on the tickets as a potential win. The possible prize is seen directly under the ticket number as a smaller font with the value displayed. Some balls can get a bit pricey depending on how much the win will pay out and it’s up to gamblers to decide if to purchase or not, with the price being shown on the ball extractor. If the tickets numbers start to look a little tired, players can opt to change the numbers at the start of a new round by simply clicking on ‘new tickets’ to give a complete set of new ones.

There is a nice little added ‘bonus’, but not in the true sense of a bonus game. Shamrock Bingo has a jackpot to give away to all those players who place bets of at least 3 credits on all 4 tickets. The mantra to remember here is ‘the bigger the stake, the higher the jackpot’. If a full house occurs under these conditions with the 30 balls, winners will have hit the jackpot of 11250.00

    Fast Bingo

When looking for quick and simple bingo titles, be sure to check out Turbo 90 Plus on nJoy Interactive. It’s a popular title amongst online video bingo fans and it gets to the point with plenty of thrills. It’s a 90 ball game that will release 33 balls with prizes to snap up with matches on up to 4 bingo cards. If a payout is close, this game will also offer extra balls, albeit only 3 of them. There are some high bets to place on this so new players beware and get to know the game with a little free demo play first. It’s very much old school style but still has character enough to compete with some of the latest releases.

    Green for Luck

Shamrock Bingo is a great game for those looking to play video bingo for fun. It’s lively, fast and easy to play with no complicated game rules to get used to. The prizes are decent and an added jackpot is a great incentive to keep playing with a goal in mind. It looks good with the design and the music is fitting with the occasional Irish jig snippets to mark wins.

Other sound effects can sound a little frenzied because of the fast pace of the game, which gets more so if it turbo mode. But there is a sound setting to turn the sound off it gets too much of a bother. If you have some time, this is a game to try and if you’re fortunate, that Irish luck may leave you smiling with full pockets.
