The tractor is also valuable in its own right. With three of them in view, you’ll activate the Pick & Win feature. Take your pick from the bales of straw which will shift to reveal the prize you’ve won. When a red arrow displays alongside your prize, you can pick from another bale, repeating the process until the dollar sign signals the end of the feature.

The other feature of note on Cash Farm is Reel Refill, which sees symbols drop into place until all of the reels have been filled in a variation of what is usually called cascading reels. If any wins are created in the process, you’ll be credited with the winnings before these reels are refilled again, giving you the chance to add to your tally. Once the reels have finished their merry dance, you’ll be given the option to gamble your winnings. Guess the colour of the card (red or black) to double your bet or lose the lot in a flash.

To quote Orwell (completely out of context), “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”. So it goes at Cash Farm, where some of the creatures will prove more valuable than others in your quest to turn a profit. As a rule of thumb, the bigger the animal, the bigger the payout. Humans trump animals, however, which is why the tractor and barn symbols are the pick of the punch.

The game’s a lot of fun to play, with features that tie in nicely with the farmyard theme.
