Clusters of five or more matched symbols are enough for a win. I found the popular Cascades system at work here, with all winning symbols removed from the grid, and those above dropping down to take their places. New symbols appear from the top and cascades repeat without limit until there’s no new win.
If winning symbols form blocks of 2x2 or greater, they create Tiki Titans and double the win from their cluster. It’s another feature that triggered often as I played the Beastly Blocks slot online.
A meter to the side keeps track of all wins in a series of cascades. If at least 25 symbols are in winning clusters, they trigger Quantum Features at the end. Although it’s not made clear enough on the paytable, I found that the meter continues charging with every 25th winning symbol, unlocking Quantum features in any order –
Alteration. Transforms one type of low paying symbol into another.
Demolition. Removes all low paying symbols from the grid.
Implosion. From three to six random symbols transform into cute panda bear wilds that can act as others.
Incision. This places two intersecting diagonal lines on the reels of the Beastly Blocks slot machine. Whatever symbol is in the center position then fills the lines and the middle symbol turns wild.
Instability. Triggered on random non-winning spins, this adds from four to eight wilds to the grid. It’s this Quantum feature that triggered the most as I played.
Filling the meter with 125 winning symbols triggers a Blaze Behemoth, and all Quantum features trigger one after another for a potentially epic win. However, I didn’t reach this level and there’s no way to buy into the feature.
