Eye of the Pharaoh Slot Machine

Omega Gaming entered the online casino world in 2012 and have been on quite the wild ride ever since. Each time they create a game they seem to put together something truly creative and entertaining. They recently released Eye of the Pharaoh, which shows that there are no signs of stopping this runaway wave of momentum anytime soon.

There might be many games based around Egypt and Cleopatra in 2016, as the market is practically flooded with them, but Omega Gaming has managed to create something different, which appears to stand out against the masses.

Omega Gaming took the classic imagery of Ancient Egypt and pieced it all together to create something new for real cash slots fans to enjoy. Trust us when we say that such task is a lot harder than it sounds. So, with this in mind, can Eye of the Pharaoh really compete with similar games currently available? The following takes a long look at why we think the answer to that question is a definite “Yes!”

Surrounded by Golden Sands

The online casino world moves through phases. Something that’s “in” now could very well be “out” tomorrow. Of course, Ancient Egypt-themed slot machines are definitely the “in” thing right now, and Eye of the Pharaoh is the latest slot machine to hop on the bandwagon. This slot machine features a pretty big design, thanks to all of the intricate details. There are hieroglyphics in the background and the payline numbers are encased in stone.

There are also no disappointments to be found with the symbols used in Eye of the Pharaoh. Each one is wonderfully animated and has been given a clear amount of attention and care.

Omega Gaming has done a fantastic job representing Ancient Egypt here. Element to element, it’s hard to find a single fault with the Eye of the Pharaoh theme if were being honest, as it pretty much ticks all the boxes.

Tip-Top Treasures Lie in Wait

Eye of the Pharaoh definitely has “it” when it comes to gameplay, which is easily the strong suit of the game. It feels like everything you do in the game has some impact on your overall performance. With a 500x baseline jackpot on offer, Eye of the Pharaoh is one of those games that makes you feel like you’re building up to something big whenever you spin the reels.

From a gameplay standpoint, the game is more of a take it or leave it affair than anything else, with a betting range between 1 and 25 paylines offered, along with a medium variance payout structure.

Beware of the Mummy

Just as you begin to think that Eye of the Pharaoh is the total package, you’re brought back down to Earth thanks to the lack of dedicated bonus games. Eye of the Pharaoh does at least have classic bonus features including wild and scatter symbols, as the former helps you get an instant win while the latter unlocks free spins. The problem is that without a dedicated bonus game, Eye of the Pharaoh just seems to lack that special something.

Moving Through the Tombs

Eye of the Pharaoh is certainly more elaborate than it immediately seems, so the control panel can feel a little cramped. We don’t think this is all that bad though, because there are some things you need to know to get the most out of a spin within the game.

We advise that you take the time to give the reels a few spins using the demo mode before putting real money down, just so you can get used to the control functions here.

Unleashing the Eye of the Pharaoh!

To put it simply Eye of the Pharaoh is a powerful little real money slots game, as it’s crammed full of prizes and a truly fantastic design. What holds this game back from being a release for the ages is the fact that it just doesn’t do enough for us in the bonus stakes, as a mini-game could have pushed Eye of the Pharaoh to the next level.

That being said, we still recommend that players give this Omega Gaming release a try, as it is one of the brand’s better recent offerings for sure.
