Travel Back in Time

Set in an ancient Inca civilization, this slot uses the 25 line setup, with the standard 5 reels and 3 rows of symbols in play. Spin costs for all 25 lines range from 25c, through to $125. Auto play is an option; this brings up a selector which lets you choose up to 1000 spins. You can also stop the sounds or animations via the ‘game settings’ option.

8,000 coins is the biggest possible win, and this comes from lining up 5 of the red Inca icons on a win line. This win is an outlier; most of the others are much smaller. Most of the symbols will pay for 2 or more in this game. The next biggest prize is 750 coins for 5 of the green icons, 500 for the blue ones and 300 for the brown. The calendar / circle is with 200, with pieces of Inca jewellery taking the place of playing card symbols and making up the smaller wins.

Jane the explorer is the wild symbol, and replaces all the regular symbols to make up winning combinations. There are no separate prizes listed, so the top prize for wilds is equal to the red icons (which have the biggest regular prize).

Bonuses are triggered by hitting 3 chests from the left hand reel, and the more chests you hit the bigger your potential range of wins from the pick-em game that follows. Finally, the map and magnifying glass combination is the scatter symbol. This gives you between 5 and 20 free spins, for between 3 and 5 on the reels.

Lost Incas Gold Bonus Games

There is no special behaviour in the free spins round, the top of the screen turns into a countdown of your remaining spins, and the drum track does change slightly. Other than that you just get to play the standard game for free. This can be retriggered – 3+ more treasure maps will add more spins to your total. There is an additional screen which shows your total winnings before you return to the main reels.

3+ of the bonus symbols take you to a jungle scene where you get to choose from 3 Inca icons. You can win up to 950 ‘Bonus Points’ (coins), with the spread of these depending on how many symbols trigger your bonus. The game involves picking up to 3 icons, revealing your prize and avoiding the booby trapped one which ends the game immediately.

Can You Find The Ancient Inca Treasure

This is a solid slot in a tried and tested genre. The graphics are good and the animations give the game a certain character. Positives for me include the big win available for 5 of the red icons and the 2 different bonus rounds which help to keep you engaged. I’m not sure this slot is going to be an all-time favourite for many players, at the same time it is entertaining and has big win potential. One to check out, and maybe return to now and again.
