Theme

The theme is very much floral here. The snapdragon plant is a very exotic plant. It gains its name from its appearance holding resemblance to the skin of a dragon. It is a plant that is native to rocky environments in Europe, North America, and North Africa.

This is not IGT's first foray into the world of fauna. Other slots that they have released onto the market with a theme relating to plants, flowers, or nature include the underrated In Bloom, the underwhelming Grand Monarch, and the smash hit Garden Party.

Symbols across the reel all appear to have been chosen and designed by fanatical members of the Royal Horticultural Society. Snapdragon plants in all their beauty and variations pop up on the reels, butterflies are also included, and the regular 9-through-to-Ace symbols fill up the remaining spaces on the reels.

The Wild symbol is represented by the blue butterfly and this symbol has the ability to substitute for all other symbols, except for the Bonus symbols, to complete any potential winning combinations that might present themselves on the reels after a spin.

In my opinion, whenever a floral-themed slot machine comes to our attention it does not exactly set the pulses racing. Flowers are not really the high-octane theme that the majority of slots players want when they visit a casino floor. So the developer takes a big risk by choosing such a theme for its new release.

IGT just about get away with it here. The developer has a proven track record of delivering Stacked Wilds slot machines on a similar level to those by the behemoth developers such as WMS Gaming and Konami Gaming. It is that habit of getting those games right that makes this latest title a winner.

At times, the game does feel a little short on variety and depth but the action in the base game keeps the wins coming and you will always feel on your toes. It is far from a long-term slot machine so do not expect to waste hours playing it. It is a refreshing change from some of the more complex games that are beginning to invade the market so it will appeal to a lot of you out there.
