Hopping Mad

Even though the game is named after him, Jack isn’t the fella leading this pack, in fact he’s third from the top, coming in with a worth of 300 credits at his top end. Should you only find two of him though, then you’re right down to a lowly 15 credits. That’s not a happy sum of money to many punters, but when you see the returns of some of the lower value tiles, you’ll soon realise the value can plummet even further.

The 10 symbol is the lowest paying of all the generic icons at just 2 credits, but it’s the odd one out of the card values because you’re allowed find just two of them to get a win. Normally this is a feature only reserved to the specialised tiles, but it seems Spin Games fancied mixing it up a little bit. It doesn’t make much sense, but there it is nonetheless.

Speaking of those fancier icons, let’s have a proper gander at them and see what they’re offering; the wild virtually does nothing out of the nom. Boring for us stimulation wise, but good for our wallets as it means it’ll sub tiles to make combos. In this game it’s the scatter symbol that holds all the cards, and you’ll need at least three of them to be in with a chance of getting the goods.

Despite three being the starting number, you can get four or five of these icons, with each match rewarding a different number of spins. If you get three tiles you receive 7 rounds, four will get you 10 and five will bag you 15. As you can see, you’ll want to be hitting five every time. All of the spins can be activated again, and a multiplier can be awarded to you during this time, it’s just whether you’re fortunate enough to trigger it.

Burnt to a Crisp

You might be in the wilderness of the Australian outback but money matters here, and so you’ll need to place a wager if you intend to win anything.

The amounts for Spin Games are traditionally small and here is no different, the starting figure is 1 coin valued at 0.01, but this can be increased. You increase both of them in two separate widgets on the control panel, one marked ‘Bet Per’ and the other ‘Denom’. Customers can choose to put down the maximum amount via the ‘Max’ toggle sticking out from the spin button.

There doesn’t seem to be an autospin option available here, though you can turn on turbo mode which makes spinning the reels much faster.

Jumping for Joy or Hobbling Home?

Spin Games doesn’t quite do it for us with this slot machine, though you can’t deny they gave it their all. It’s the theme, it doesn’t work for us. Still, if you’re able to look past it you can get yourself a reasonable sized jackpot and a heap of free spins.
