Set up and Play for Worlds at War

This slot by Saucify has the same five reels found at the majority of their slots, this particular game having 15 win lines. These 15 win lines are set in play by default, but you’ll be able to change the amount by simply clicking on the ‘lines’ button. You’ll also choose both the coin value and the coin amount to set the total stake for each spin.

The best option at the slot is the auto spin feature, which you can either set manually by clicking on the plus or minus buttons, or you can use one of the pre-select buttons to run it for 10, 25, 50 or 100 spins without any interruption.

To achieve a win you’ll need to land consecutive symbols from left to right on a win line, with all of the symbols apart from the two planets needing at least 3 in a row. The planets (Nibiru and Earth) are the top two paying standard symbols in the game and give you wins of 1,000x and 750x when landing 5 in a row. The standard symbols are completed by Stinger, the Hive Ship, Cyclone, the Star Station, Crawler, Wasp, Trooper and Aileron.

Commander Griffin, a rather serious looking chap in a large blue armoured suit is the wild symbol in the game and any win where this wild is used will actually be doubled. He is also the top paying symbol in the entire game, landing 5 in a row on a win line giving you a massive win of 10,000x your coin amount.

The Demonion symbol, which looks a little bit like the creature from the film franchise Alien is one of the two scatter symbols. Land this three or more times across the reels and you’ll enter the free spins round. The Galaxy Gate symbol activates the bonus game when it appears on three or more times on a win line from left to right.

Worlds at War Features

You’ll gain more free spins the greater number of scatters you used to activate the feature. 3 scatters give you the minimum 5 free spins, whilst 4 or 5 scatters give you 7 or 10 free spins respectively. During the feature, should the Alien appear again three or more times it can be re-activated.

The best feature of the game is the ‘Planetary Defence’ bonus game. During this round you’re taken to another screen where you’ll find a series of alien ships flying around the crowded sky. There will be 4 waves of ships and you’ll attempt to shoot every ship by placing the cursor over the enemy and clicking the mouse. The more you hit, the bigger the prizes. This is a feature that the more you play, the better you will become.

Worlds at War – Conclusion

Saucify have to be commended for producing a somewhat original slot here, but whether it really hits the heights is open to question. Although very rich in detail, the slot is a little weak graphically, looking a little outdated. Also upon entering the bonus round it’s not entirely clear what you should be doing the first time you play. Having said that, I’m sure there will be some fans, as the features are more varied than at many other slots.
