Diamond Prizes

Diamonds are the cash-collect-style symbols paying in addition to line wins on the Triple Gem Treasure slot machine. At the start of every spin, each diamond on the reels is randomly assigned a credit value drawn from a position-specific range: 20 to 80 on reels one and two, 100 to 250 on reels three and four, and 200 to 1,500 on reel five.

The trigger condition is specific. Prizes only pay if at least one diamond appears on both reel one and reel two during the same spin. Once that's met, every diamond in view from the leftmost reel onwards adds its value to the total, paying once per diamond. During my 240-spin session, the trigger condition was met twice. The first paid 230 credits across three diamonds on reels one, two, and three at the 1.60 stake (143x bet). The second hit reached reel five and paid 480 credits (300x bet).

Wilds

Three colored gem wilds (purple, red, and green) form the gameplay backbone of the Triple Gem Treasure slot. Each one substitutes for all standard symbols except the diamond and the other two colored wilds, and all three pay mixed, so any combination across a line forms a wild win. A white wild also exists, substituting for everything other than the diamond and the three colored gems. In the base game, the colored wilds simply contribute to line combinations. In a bought game, they take on a second function: triggering bonuses.

Free Games

When you reach a bought game, each colored gem that lands has a chance to trigger its matching bonus feature. Purple gems trigger the Grow Reels feature, the red triggers the Triple Gem Treasure  slot’s Symbol Upgrade, and the green triggers the Extra Spins feature. The combination of which colors trigger on the entry spin determines the bonus you actually get. A single color triggering alone awards 5 extra spins with that one feature. Two colors triggering on the same spin upgrades to a Double Bonus with 10 extra spins and both features. All three colors triggering at once means the Triple Bonus: 15 extra spins with every feature active simultaneously.

• Extra Spins: Adds a green gem to reel 1. At the start of each spin, each green gem is replaced by either a +1 or +2 token, which substitutes for the diamond prize and adds spins to the count, extending the bonus as long as the right gems keep landing.

• Symbol Upgrade: Activates a Level 1 Collection Meter and adds a gold gem to reel 5. Each wild that lands is collected. At 3 wilds, all earrings convert to diamonds. At 4 wilds, necklaces convert. 5 wilds upgrades bracelets, 6 upgrades rings, and 7 upgrades crowns. By the top level, the only standard symbols left are card royals. The gold gem on reel 5 also carries the jackpot tie-in. It’s randomly assigned the Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand value, worth 40x, 100x, 800x, and 8,000x respectively, at the start of every spin. This pays out if it substitutes in a diamond win.

• Grow Reels: Expands the layout to 5x5 with 50 paylines, and a purple gem is added to reel 5. Each purple gem is randomly assigned a 2x, 3x, or 5x multiplier each spin, and the purple gem substitutes for diamond, multiplying whatever diamond prize lands.
