Spring on the Farm

Happy Farm offers a staggering (well, OK, maybe just ‘plentiful’) 50 paylines, with five reels constantly in play. What this means is that you want to match like-pictures in threes, fours or fives in order to win, and you need to do this on an active payline- we’ll come to those later.

The pictures themselves are actually mixture of images, numbers and letters. So you have 10, J, Q, K, and A;, then a variety of fruits. Each corresponds to a different value of win, and the more you land the higher that value is. As was stated above, the graphics are really very crisp and as good as you’d find on any video game.

Harvest Time

We mentioned paylines before, and these are really important in Happy Farm. You can introduce up to 50 into the game at any one time. However, you are restricted in how much you can increase that number- basically, incrementally in tens. So 10, 20, 30, 40, and then 50. The more you have in play, the more chances you have of winning.

You can also adjust the monetary value of each individual bet. This is done with the same control panel as Paylines (bottom of the screen). Again, the increases are done incrementally. The more you put down the more you can pick up when you’re on a winning streak. Careful, though, lots of active Paylines, each with a high value of bet, makes for a pretty pricey game.

Mother Nature

You might think that’s all there is to this farmyard gambling festival, but there are a couple of addition bits that are worth familiarising yourself with. First, there are three Jackpot fruits- plums, which are Mega Jackpots; oranges, which are Mini Jackpots, and bananas are Minor Jackpots. Land five of a kind of any of those and you’ll be in for some real winnings.

There is also a Wild card – this is the cherries, and can be used to substitute for any other standard picture in the game. And there are another three images that you definitely want to look out for, as they can change the experience dramatically.

These are the Scatter; a deer, which payout multipliers to win lines based on total bet size: the Free; a small bird, which offers up free spins when three or more are matched: and the Bonus; a small K9 animal, which kicks off a bonus game that adds yet another layer of potential cash riches for your greedy mitts to grab at. Not that we’re criticising.

Happy with This One!

We really like this game, and for several reasons. The graphics, animations and sound are all first rate and certainly much better than you normally expect from a gambler. Add to this just how smooth the gaming experience is and you start to realise just how vastly superior Happy Farm is to so many of its peers.

There are some great little details involved, and the jackpot pictures really work to keep you going for longer than perhaps others would. Coupled with the nice little bonus game and it’s safe to say that, ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. Or hopefully so, anyway, if it’s your money on the table.
