Dean Martin’s Pool Party is a uniquely-formatted game that features up to 100 paylines for players to bet on. Created by WMS, this game uses their Double Money Burst engine, which takes the Money Burst format and creates an even wilder set of possibilities on the reels.

When you first look at this slot, you’ll see what looks like a slightly altered five-reel format. The final three reels each have six positions on them, and these do act like normal reels (albeit large ones). It’s the first “two” reels where things get a bit crazy. You’ll see that these are divided into an upper and lower section, each of which have two symbol spots per reel. However, in reality, each position is its very own reel: the top four positions are reels 1-4, while the bottom four are 5-8. Each spins independently, though the ultimate goal is still the same: make matching combinations from left to right across the screen.

You’ll have a number of fun symbols that you can match in this cartoonish, poolside-themed game. On the low end are the poker ranks, from jacks through aces. Bigger wins can be made by finding beautiful women, accessories like floatation rings and sunglasses, or the visage of the man himself.

There’s also a wild symbol: the “Pool Party” logo. This comes stacked on the last three reels, potentially covering all six spots and helping to make combinations on every payline. This has the ability to lead to some massive wins, especially in one of the game’s bonus rounds.

There are two different ways to get some free spins on this machine. First, finding any three beach balls anywhere on the screen will award you standard free spins: not a bad deal at all, but nothing we haven’t seen on a million other games.
