The Golden Egg bonus proved to be my savior, with a 100-times my bet win putting me slightly in profit.

You must select cards to reveal golden eggs, and each correct selection moves you up the prize ladder. You can activate this pick-a-card feature with two or three lives, but I only had one. I didn’t have much hope of winning the top prize of 500 times the bet, but I did guess correctly four times, increasing my prize from 5 times my bet to 100 times.
