If this happens, the piece will ‘capture’ other pieces on the slot, turning them all wild. The pieces that are captured depend on the chess piece – the rook for example capturing adjacent pieces and the bishop capturing diagonally.

The ‘Big Capture’ bonus round is activated when landing the appropriate symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5. You’re met by a chess board of 25 squares behind which are hidden all of the 16 black chess pieces. You’ll also find some X’s and some extra picks. Every black piece you choose wins you a prize, every X wins you nothing and the extra picks extend the round.

With so many slots out there, it can be very difficult to find a truly original take on the casino favourite.
