Vegas Lights Slot

Bright neon lights are calling to you, drawing you in to play a game that Vegas itself would be proud of, after all, it does share its name. Vegas Lights, also known as The Fabulous Vegas Lights, takes all the elements of the renowned holiday destination and places it into one neat package.

Set up across 5-reels and sporting 20 paylines, this title makes you feel like you’ve not only switched locations but time as well – the 80s had nothing on how colourful and flamboyant this slot machine is.

Fasten your seatbelts, settle into your comfiest chair and prepare to experience some of the best retro gaming Core Gaming has to offer its players. And if that doesn’t entice you in, maybe the 500 credits jackpot will.

Bright Lights

When the game first loads, users will be greeted by a crowded casino setting in the background with a large slot machine centre stage; the camera will pan from the top all the way to the reels and will then zoom in. It is designed to make you feel like you’ve just walked up to it, looked it up and down, and then seated yourself in front of it.

A series of instructions will then appear to inform you of the various symbols and special features you’re likely to come across, which you can either read all the way through or tap and close. This is really the only time the 3D virtual reality styled title reminds us that it’s two dimensional and not all around us, which is a shame as without the information it would be a seamless transition.

Drenched in pastel lighting is the control panel, a streamlined feature that helps to make getting stuck in and started a lot quicker and much easier; there are just five buttons in total to aid you on your way to becoming a high roller.

Moving onto the icons along those reels, there are 13 in total, with several of them sharing the same monetary values, for example the single BAR and A tiles equal between 25.00 and 200.00 credits depending on how many of them you discover. Three matches will get you the lower end amount and five the upper.

Arguably though it is the wild, the free spins and free wins tiles that are the most important of the bunch, for they give you the most returns and opportunities to create winning lines. When you find at least three wilds you’ll watch as all other symbols are removed except for the other two bonus tiles.

In regards to those two wheel shaped symbols, they appear in halves across the 5 reels, with the end goal being for them to match up and become whole. If that happens you will be taken to the large spinning wheel located at the top of the slot machine, which has a diverse array of prizes of differing values waiting to be unlocked and applied. You can view this bonus feature at any time, although you won’t be able to play it until you complete those icons.

Big Wins

Remember where we said the jackpot was 500 credits? Although true, the largest payout recorded for a player has been 250,000 thanks to the various multipliers and free spins up for grabs. So when we say the jackpot is worth it, we do mean it.

Players will find they have an average starting stake of 0.20, after which the betting range deviates and becomes extraordinary, allowing users to stake as much as 500.00. Even though that amount is sometimes seen in other slots, it isn’t all that common, and will be a welcomed sight for those who like to give it their all every time they play. Should you be a more casual gamer, the range is accessible enough that most players can get involved.

As all 20 of the paylines are fixed, the only other area you have to adjust (and that’s only if you choose to use the feature) is the Autoplay button. When you select it a small window will appear in which you can set your limits of how often and when the reels stop spinning, be that due to a loss or a win. It’s a small personal touch that goes a long way to tailoring the title to suit you.

Are the Vegas Lights for Me?

Putting aside the matter of preference, this is a game that has a lot of scope for it’ll appeal to both devote purists and novelty seeking gamers. This is because the design, while simple, doesn’t fully remove any sense of character, meaning you get depth without cluttering the experience up. And then you have a large payout total that will get the blood pumping for virtually every user out there, yet another positive for Vegas Lights to add to its long list.
