Play World Sports for Free

To kick off play and get the ball rolling, players have to work as a team with the slot machine and place a minor stake, or a major one if the mood takes them. The smallest amount of cash you can use is €0.01, which turns into a final bet of €0.09 as the first value is placed onto each of the winlines. It’s a very simple process that you’ll have seen time and time again. With World Sports, the most you can play is only €18, making this a low pay-in title, ideal for frugal players.

There’s a window upon the control panel that reads ‘Bet’, you may think this refers to your cash, but it doesn’t, it actually refers to the lines in use; click the Lines toggle and you’ll notice that the number decreases, as does your final wager. As you can see, winlines are a huge part of your bet and gaming experience, which is why we always say to work will the maximum amount unless you truly can’t afford to.

Moving further along, you’ll see the Autospin option, upon it a ‘x5’ and ‘x10’; you can select either of the options or click the main body of the button. Doing the latter will unlock even more spins, essentially widening your personal experience. iSoftBet do this a lot in their slot machines.

From there on in there’s nothing else for you to do other than spin the 5-reels, unless you have a burning need to return to the paytable and see what each of the symbols rewards you. Although a handy tool, seeing as it can’t be left open when you’re gaming, you’re forever opening and closing the window.

Caught on the kiss cam screen, amongst all the snogging going on, is the scatter symbol, an icon that gifts multipliers readily. The most you can get from five of a kind is x25, a standard if not awe inspiring amount that could make your credit fund swell in size. Of course, if you get only one of these icons, the multiplier is a measly x1, which isn’t very fly.

Bringing in yet more increased returns is the wild, offering a x2 multiplier when it’s active on a payline and working in conjunction with a winning combination. What makes this better than it already is that the wins can be made both ways: right to left and left to right.

On top of these two, there’s then 10 more icons to get a hold of, with the most valuable being the American Football tile, coming in at €10,000 per five.

So this isn’t the best slot machine, but it does a decent job at holding our interest, which is a lot more than what can be said of most titles. As a result, we would say this is an online activity worth playing, though it goes without saying that people who haven’t got a sporting disposition might not appreciate the theme much.
