Base Camp

In the base game there are lots of prize symbols to line-up in both the Forest of Fortune and the Sea of Glory, and the better ones include Eagles and Wolves which pay up to 250 coins, Thor-style hammers and Arrow Tips that pay up to 500 coins, and the respectively beautiful and handsome Thora and Ragnar that pay up to 1,000 coins.

All prize symbols may also be multiplied by the Mystery Multiplier Reel which can multiply prizes by up to 20x in levels 1 to 5, and up to 30x in the later levels.

The best symbol to find though is the Bonus Shields & Swords Symbols. When these appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 they will award 2x your total-bet, and then trigger the Battle Bonus Round in which you will try and defeat 3 Monsters to win Victory Spins.

Heroic Battles

Each spin of the reels in the Battle Bonus can either Damage or Stun your opponent, or protect yourself against damage from your opponent.

In round 1 in the Forest of Fortune you will face Jaws the Wolf, whilst in Round 2 you will have to face Tusk the Warthog, and in Round 3 the Evil Arrow. Meanwhile, in the Sea of Glory you will be pitched against a different set of opponents in the shape of Claw the Giant Crab, Ink the Poisonous Octopus, and a Giant Sea Serpent that can inflict damage with both his head and tail. Victory will be rewarded with Victory Spins in which prizes will benefit from wild symbols or wild reels.

Each victory will also win you XP points which will help you unlock the 8 different levels of the game, which are Wanderer, Traveller, Explorer, Adventurer, Defender, Slayer, Hero and Champion. During the new levels you will also be awarded special weapons which can help you defeat different monsters as you progress.
