A Low Transform feature can also trigger on random non-winning spins. The mutant rat picks the lowest value symbol currently in view as a target, then all lower values symbols vanish to trigger an Avalanche. Any new symbols worth less than the target get replaced by those with higher values. However, I didn’t see much benefit from this as I played the Dr. Cranko’s Lab slot online and there’s no guarantee of a win.

An additional reel is yet another random feature from the mad Dr. and one that in my experience, triggers often. It simply adds a sixth reel to the right on random spins and any subsequent Avalanches, and it’s here that you can win higher prizes from six-of-a-kind combinations.

Atom-shaped scatter symbols unlock free spins. Land three, four, or five for five, seven, or ten free games respectively. Depending on the number of triggering symbols, the free games come with enhanced Avalanche multipliers –

I wanted to see how these boosted values can affect prizes and bought into five free games upfront. I got lucky with the basic spins, winning 74x the bet for a buy-in of just 15x.
