The Wheel Feature

The Wheel Feature may randomly activate when any of the three melon scatters lands during the Cash Melon Combo slot’s base game. When it does, one wheel spin is awarded. Click to watch it spin. The result determines what you get: extra spins, a cash value, or a second Melon color that upgrades the upcoming feature entirely.

If the Cash Melon Combo slot’s wheel lands +1 or +2 spins, the slot banks them for the bonus. Landing a Melon color on the wheel means the feature corresponding to that Melon combines with the triggering Melon's feature, producing a Super Feature. Up to three wheel spins can be awarded in total. If the wheel hasn't resolved with Start Feature by the third spin, the Start Feature appears on every wedge, guaranteeing a bonus trigger. The Wheel Feature ends when the pointer lands on Start Feature.

In a session of around 80 spins on the Cash Melon Combo slot, the Wheel Feature triggered four times, the first one being within the first three spins. Two resolved in a single spin with the Start Feature landing on the first turn. These went straight into Coin Boost and Cash Pots respectively, both at their base spin count. A third landed +2 extra spins before resolving, which extended the Coin Boost that followed to 7 spins. The fourth was the session's standout moment: the wheel landed a Red Melon on the second spin before producing Start Feature, converting what would have been a Green Melon Coin Boost into a Coin Boost & Cash Pots Super Feature.

Coin Boost Feature

The Cash Melon Combo slot awards this when the Green Melon triggers the wheel, and the Coin Boost Feature starts with 5 spins. A dedicated reel set runs for the duration, and Green Melon scatters can now land and contribute: each one awards 1 extra spin and boosts the Gold Coin prize value by 15 to 45 coins, applying to every Gold Coin that lands for the rest of the feature. Gold Coins pay a cash prize starting at 100 coins each. The feature ends when spins run out, or after a maximum of 88 spins.

The mechanic rewards early Green Melon landings heavily. A Green Melon arriving on spin 2 of a 5-spin run lifts the Gold Coin value for 3 or more remaining spins. A Green Melon on the final spin lifts nothing that matters. In one Coin Boost run, two Green Melons in the first three spins pushed the coin prize above 150 before a single Gold Coin had landed, and the Gold Coins that followed reflected that. Another run produced no Green Melons across its 5 spins and left with very little.

Cash Pots Feature

The Red Melon triggers 8 spins on the same paylines as the Cash Melon Combo slot’s base game. During the feature, Gold Safes replace the melon symbols, and each Gold Safe that lands reveals 1, 2, or 3 extra spins, a coin value (18 to 38 coins), or a Gem. The Gems are what drive the feature as each one fills a position under one of four jackpot meters: Mini (500 coins), Minor (1,500 coins), Major (10,000 coins), or Grand (100,000 coins). Fill all positions under a meter and that jackpot pays. More than one jackpot can be won in a single feature, and the coin values scale with the stake played.

One Cash Pots run produced seven Gold Safes across 10 spins: three Gems total, filling part of the Mini meter without completing it. The jackpots are genuinely reachable within the feature structure, but filling a meter requires a run of Gem-heavy Safe reveals rather than extra spins or coin values. It's a feature that can feel tantalizingly close without resolving, and that frustration is part of the Cash Melon Combo slot’s design.

Reel Boost Feature

The Blue Melon triggers 5 spins on 50 lines, which is double the Cash Melon Combo slot’s base game's payline count, with a dedicated reel set. You cannot retrigger, the feature simply runs until no spins remain. There's no secondary collection mechanic here: the Reel Boost is simply more coverage per spin, with the expanded payline structure doing the work. It resolved fastest of the three features in every run and carries the cleanest ceiling of the bunch.

Super Feature and Mega Feature

A Super Feature combines two of the three core bonuses, triggered when the wheel produces a second Melon color before landing Start Feature. It awards 8 spins. The Coin Boost & Cash Pots variant plays on 25 paylines, while either combination involving Reel Boost plays on 50. Both mechanics run simultaneously, meaning Gold Coin prizes and Gem collections can both occur in the same feature.

The Mega Feature, which is when all three core bonuses are active together, awards 10 spins on 50 paylines and requires all three Melon types to converge through the wheel. It didn't appear during my sessions on the Cash Melon Combo slot, though the Coin Boost & Cash Pots Super Feature produced the highest single result: three Green Melon boosts in the first four spins inflated the Gold Coin prizes significantly, while two Gold Safes added Gems and two extra spins to the run.
