Spin One, Two, or Three Reels

The choice of whether you spin one, two, or three reels is up to you. I opted for one reel first, and it soon became obvious that each number that landed on the reel multiplied my coin bet by itself. This option is a great way to quickly learn the game, but it gets dull quickly, as you don’t benefit from respins.

Playing two reels costs you three times the bet, but it’s worth it to spin two reels. This is when I  started to understand the concatenated part, as fives on the payline on both reels suddenly paid 55x my base bet, and Straight Cash Triple Double suddenly became an exciting game.

It didn’t take me long to progress to playing all three reels, but it does cost 10x the bet. Wins didn’t hit as frequently in this mode, but a 3, 2, 5 number sequence produced a 32.50x coin win that isn’t available in modes one or two. After trying them all three options, I had no doubt that spinning three reels is the way to go.

Respins and Multipliers

Respins and multipliers are two features that enhance the concatenated number mechanic of Straight Cash Triple Double. Numbers can appear with spin, spin x2, and spin x3 on them, and these numbers hold while the other reels respin. The reels spin quicker during this feature, providing short, sharp bursts of energy that make you hold your breath at the prospect of bigger wins.

All 2x and 3x multipliers then multiply any one, two, or three-number winning combinations. It was only near the end of my session that I hit a 3, 1, 5 number sequence, with a three-times multiplier providing me with a mega win of 94.50 coins. That may be small potatoes compared to the possible max win of 21,040x, but it flipped an expected 40 coin loss up to that point into a 50+ coin profit.
