Western Saloon is based on two different games, each with a different location in the saloon. The overall graphic atmosphere is a little retro, with an overall slot machine layout.

The main game is set downstairs in the saloon. The reels are placed behind the bar with a scroll on the right-hand side to support the paytable. The different fruit symbols, namely the oranges, lemons, plums and strawberries are the most common icons on the base game. You can win from approximatively 1 to 10 credits with them, depending on your current bet level. The bells are a bit more worth, with a maximum reward of 12 credits. Finally, the green, red and blue diamonds top up the list and can even be mixed together for a small win. 3 blue diamonds on a payline will trigger a big win of 240 credits. Keep also an eye out for the sheriff star, which is the wild card of the game, and the tiny bonus symbol that will give you access to a mini game.

In the upper game, you will find mostly hats, decks of cards and revolvers on the new set of reels. But the green, blue and red 7s are the most interesting symbols here, also worth up to 240 credits.

Western Saloon has an interesting gameplay because it gives players an extra incentive to keep spinning the reels, which is bonus points.

The treasure chest symbol can only be found in the main game. Each time one or more appears on the payline, a specific amount of bonus points is awarded. You have to use these points together with regular credits to gain access to the upper games and spin the reels there.

Despite its shorter paytable, climbing up the saloon’s stairs could be worth it for one reason: the paylines. All 5 of them are drawn across a similar set of 3 reels, thus giving you many more chances to win than in the main game.
