We decided to try Shore Thing by Realistic Games to be able to offer a healthy comparison between the two games. We found that Shore Thing, although was not the most impressive game design of games out there, however, it was more impressive than Sunset Reels’ graphics.

Both Shore Thing and Sunset Reels had special features which made these games unique. The former had a special feature where if the player lands any combination of starfish, crabs and seahorses, the player receives a cash prize. In the case of the latter, Sunset Reels, the game had a wild symbol which doubled as a multiplier by 7. All in all, given that Sunset Reel’s graphics were not on par with those found in Shore Thing, we do feel that the gameplay was more satisfying in Shore Thing than in Sunset Reels.

Although we weren’t too impressed with the graphics of this game and the symbols chosen, we did enjoy the background (sunset at a desert scene).
