While Genesis Gaming hasn’t released a whole lot of details about how Sea Raider will work, there have been previews that have given us an early look at what to expect from this creation. The game uses a very minimalist interface, with the real focus being on the gorgeous underwater locations that the game takes place in. These scenes are filled with colorful details: plant life, colorful sea beds, and even hidden mysteries like sunken ships.

But the most impressive aspect may be the kinds of ocean life that live in this gaming universe. Players will see an endless number of fish swim across the screen, with larger creatures like turtles and rays making appearances as well. Gamblers will particularly treasure their encounters with mythical creatures like wyverns, Bixi, the Cryophoenix, and others.

When it comes to the specifics of gameplay, we only have a few hints as to what to expect. Players will be tasked with shooting and capturing the creatures that appear on screen, as well as other items that may appear from time to time. The main advancement goal appears to be finding and collecting five pearls in each level, after which the mythical beast for that section of the game will be released. Capturing this mythological creature will result in a large prize.

Other special items and animals can result in other features being triggered. For instance, a shark can eat several fish on the screen; catching the shark results in a prize not only for the shark itself, but also for everything it has eaten. Killing an electric eel will electrocute the fish around it, once again earning prizes for all of them. A bomb can be shot in order to kill a large section of creatures, while a treasure chest will award random instant prizes.

One of the nice things about this game is that players have the ability to choose their own volatility levels. That’s something we love to see in games, as gamblers can quickly be disappointed if they’re playing a game that’s too predictable or too risky for their own tastes. Regardless of their choice, however, this is a title that offers up very fair odds for a specialty game: the RTP is listed at 96.72%, putting it in line with many table games. And with frequent special features, you’ll never be bored while on your underwater journey.

While we can’t say for certain how this title will play out until we get our hands on a finalized version, we’re definitely enthusiastic about Sea Raider’s release. The arcade style gameplay should be a lot of fun, and the fact that it is fully mobile-optimized means that you’ll be able to play this on your tablet or smartphone, making it feel even more like an exciting mobile video game. With gorgeous graphics and a great theme that’s inspired by Asian mythology, Sea Raider is poised to be one of Genesis Gaming’s biggest new hits of 2017.
