Stakes

In Red White Blue 7s, the minimum coin denomination is 0.02, while the maximum is 5, and you can stake one, two or three coins. When playing at max bet, the aforementioned top prize applies – 5,000 credits. A king’s ransom, you might say. Or should that be president’s ransom?

Two tiers

In Red White Blue 7s, there are two tiers. The lower tier features the 3-reel grid and tabs for Winner Paid, Credits and Credits Played on the far right-hand side. The upper tier shows the pay-table and all payout values associated with matching combinations played with one, two or three coins. All the usual controls are arrayed along the bottom of the screen, on a gold-backed panel. This is where you can determine your bet and set the reels in motion. You can also play between one and 25 auto spins.

Lucky number 7s

Red White Blue 7s is not a feature-rich game, but that’s kinda the point – this title is a throwback to a bygone age. Despite its lack of scatter symbols or indeed free spins bonuses, the game can put a smile on your face if you find icons in the correct combination.

Symbols include several variations of the number 7, including one rimmed in gold and with the stars and stripes emblazoned upon it, a white seven, a blue seven and a red seven. There are also BAR icons, which can appear in white writing against a black backdrop, red writing against a black backdrop or blue writing against a black backdrop. The American flag 7 is the game’s wild, and can substitute for all symbols to help you form pay wins.

If you play with a single coin your top prize is 1,000 credits: this is achieved by landing three red 7s. For three white 7s it’s 250 and for three blue 7s it is 150. Are you thinking what we’re thinking? That the drop in value between the red 7 and the white 7 is disappointing? Yep, we would have preferred a pay value of 750 or 500 for three white 7s, but there you have it. The next-best paying symbols are the BAR icons, in their various guises, and thereafter you can win modest payouts for combinations of two 7s or BARs. You can also earn a humble two credits for any individual 7.

Of course, if you play with two or three coins, the payouts increase. For example, when played with two coins, five blue sevens yields 2,000 credits, and if played with three, 5,000 credits, the highest prize in the game. For white and blue 7s, the values are 500/750 and 300/450. In our experience, the mixed 7s hit rather a lot, as do the mixed BARs.

Home of the brave

Red White Blue 7s is what it is: an American-themed, three-reel video slot with hardly any features. But as we’ve outlined, it’s actually a fairly good slot, and players have a better than average chance of hitting regular, steady wins. The payout values are also pretty damn good if you happen to be playing with three coins. Give it a go and see if Uncle Sam – or Lady Luck – is on your side.
