Empty Winlines

The key feature here, in fact the only feature, is the Bonus Counter. As already stated, it operates on a backwards system, looking for no matches instead of three or more. Taking place upon the middle and only winline, it’s a quirky special that is incredibly hard to trigger.

The gaps in between the tiles need to line up perfectly for the counter to start adding up the bonus games, and managing to do that is very hard - when we played we kept getting wins, which actually annoyed us. We wanted so desperately to get an empty payline that we got disinterested when we won, which is a very difficult emotion to process. After a lot of spinning, all manually, we finally landed the enigmatic empty winline and got our counter to 1.

Now according to the rules of the game, the reels need to turn black for your free games, aka the bonus games, to begin. We never activated it and we’re not sure why, maybe you need a specific number before it triggers or perhaps it’s a volatile random occurrence.

Money Maker

There are other ways to win with Vegas Reels II, like the traditional imagery of the grid itself; like any other slot machine, a match of several pieces are needed to warrant a win. To make the game simpler, the activity has made a lot of symbols the same amounts: the 7, lemon, watermelon and cherries all deliver the same wins should you get two or three of them.

The crown, red diamond, VEGAS and BAR tiles do the same as well, only here their amounts are a little higher at between €2 and €30. Out of all the tiles, the only one that goes against the grain and gives an amount completely individual is the joker, coming in at 100 credits.

None of these payout amounts may sound very appealing to a lot of you, especially given how many slot machines can pay some big cash prizes, but this is actually one of Wazdan’s more rewarding slot machines. What is more, because of the small fee you play with, it actually works out as quite generous.

Success!

For a game that has a low bet threshold of just 1 credit, what players can stand to gain here is very good. Not only do they get a maximum win of x100 credits, but they also get a x3 multiplier during the bonus rounds, easily helping the total amount to tot up. And then you have the progressive jackpot, a random figure that can grow as large as it wants; it may not go big for you, but it can.

Users who like to test their own mental stability can bet up to 100 credits, but that seems a massive stake for a low return; when you’re throwing money at an average paying slot, you need to make sure it’s the right amount. If you’re still not deterred and want to be foolhardy, select the Max Bet widget.

As Good as Vegas?

Vegas Reels II is a golden slot machine that we enjoyed a lot, but why it has a name to do with Vegas when its design is anything but conventional is beyond us. In Vegas you wouldn’t get a game that rewards you for no matches, and so we feel a better title would have been better suited to the weirdness of this activity.
