That should probably be the real name of the slot machine because, when you open up the reels and see boats, you begin to question why the game is called Aero in the first place - traditionally the term aero refers to aircrafts. However, every icon shown has been streamlined in some way so that they run more efficiently, and so then the name fits.
Putting technicalities aside, we have to be honest and say that the graphics leave a lot to the imagination. They’re very very dated looking, which we assume is intentional as the date of release hints at it being a millennial game, though this could be incorrect. Either way it is an old school gamer’s gold mine, even more so when you take a closer look at those payouts.
From what we can glean, because although we’ve played the information still isn’t clear, users need only get a min of two or more matches before a payout is given. What is more, they have to be from left to right, up or down. The hot air balloons when looking at just the line wins, aka the base game, is the lowest value tile giving you a total of x2 your bet. As for the barrage balloon labelled spin, that rewards x80, so as you can see, where the looks fail the money makes up for it.
However, should you get three of the barrage tiles, a feature game will start because this is known as the scatter symbol, and here different rules apply. Users will need to find between 2 and 9 of the same symbol to experience multipliers from x2 to x200. Moreover, there is a min and max jackpot that can be won depending on which icons show up during this feature.
Actually having a punt with this game also feels challenging because, yet again, the information and controls prove to be quite poor. Nonetheless, we managed to figure it out after a couple of gos and are hoping we prevent you from having problems when it comes to your turn.
The overall starting point is 64 coins, which sounds like an awful lot for a first bet, however when you finally notice that 1 credit equals 0.01 you can begin to breathe easy. Which means that the amount you have selected is a lot less costly than you might first though. Customers can increase their bet all the way to 320 coins if they feel they need more intensity.
Finally we’ve come to the auto button, which is your autopilot widget that will send the reels spinning without you having to lift a finger, a hugely convenient and time saving option for any slot machine to have. You can’t determine how long this continues for, but you can stop it whenever you want.
Um… we just don’t know. We’ve never experienced anything like it, and we’re not sure if we ever will again. It is definitely one to remember, that’s for sure. It could just be that we’re more video slot enthusiasts than retro, but something about Aero just didn’t take off with us.
