Play Diamond Link Mighty Santa: Boarded Up™ for Free

Novomatic took its popular Diamond Link series somewhere festive with the Diamond Link Mighty Santa Boarded Up slot, pairing a classic 5-reel setup with an interactive board game bonus. Cookies, reindeers, and sparkling diamonds decorate a Christmas setting full of holiday charm. Santa himself does more than pose. He becomes the moving piece on the bonus game board, so the visuals tie straight into the gameplay and support the mechanics well instead of serving as simple decoration around the reels.

The game runs on 5 reels and 20 paylines. You can bet anywhere from 0.20 to 100 credits per spin. Diamond symbols carry values that later convert into multipliers, and that makes the base game feel like a build-up toward the main event.

Land 6 or more diamond scatters, or fill the progress meter, and the Diamond Link feature triggers. Every diamond turns pink. Their values become bet multipliers, and an explosion highlights 1 to 4 diamond positions before a game board appears with Santa as the playing piece.

Each dice roll moves Santa around fields with different effects. A Spin Field awards a free spin with sticky diamonds, while a Watch Field launches the Xmas Countdown, which decides whether the round continues or ends. Diamond Fields double all diamond values in play. Special Fields trigger add, multiplier, or collect modifiers.

Fill all 15 reel positions with diamonds and you'll collect the Grand Jackpot, which starts at 1,000x the bet. The feature keeps all four tiers in play throughout, with the Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand jackpots each available while the round runs.

Novomatic set the RTP at 95%, with medium-high volatility. That return is a theoretical figure worked out across a very large number of spins, and a short session can look quite different. With this volatility, wins tend to come from the feature more than from steady base game payouts.

Pros

• Interactive board mechanic with varied field outcomes

• Wide betting flexibility for casual and higher-stake players

• Multiple jackpot tiers linked to the main feature

Cons

• Base game may feel restrained between bonus triggers

• Feature rules take time to learn fully

• Familiar Christmas theme with limited novelty outside the bonus

Diamond Link Mighty Santa Boarded Up puts most of its excitement into a structured bonus round, and players who enjoy feature-led slots are its natural audience. Santa's board game adds real variety to the Diamond Link feature, and the four jackpot tiers add long-term appeal. If you want an active base game with frequent wins, it may depend too much on triggering the main feature, but fans of holiday-themed bonuses with clear progression will find plenty to like.
