Famous actor Jamie Foxx has returned from a mystery illness and resumed promotions for the BetMGM sports betting brand. In one of his first posts since his hospitalization, the 55-year-old revealed on Twitter that the sportsbook operator has big things coming soon:
In the post, he is sitting on what looks to be a BetMGM-branded Formula 1 car. Las Vegas is getting ready for its first F1 race since the 1980s in November, with the circuit located around the famous casinos of the Strip.
Foxx has worked with BetMGM as a brand ambassador since 2020, appearing in numerous promotional videos alongside other notable people like former NBA star Kevin Garnett and actress Vanessa Hudgens.
went “through hell and back”
The American star had some health issues earlier this year that led to his hospitalization. While he did not reveal exactly what the issue was, Foxx did say that he went “through hell and back.” The actor said he prefers to remain quiet about the condition as he does not want fans to associate him with ill health.
With Foxx and his family providing little detail on the illness, rumors circulated in the media suggesting supposed paralyzation and blindness. Foxx released a video showing that he did not suffer from these issues.
