Slots Inferno Casino Review

It never hurts when an online casino has a fun, colorful theme to help draw players into their website. That’s one thing that Slots Inferno certainly has going for it, with bright reds and yellows accentuating roaring flames as part of a fiery package. It’s colorful and artistic, something that at least presents the appearance of professionalism when you take your first look at their site.

Unfortunately, not every part of the operation here is quite as polished as their graphics would suggest. Sure, the software is solid, and the promotional offers may seem appealing. But a look at how former players on this site view the casino is very revealing, and not in a positive way. Serious problems with their cashier – particularly when it comes to withdrawals – prevents this site from truly being considered among the better USA-facing online casinos.

RTG Software Brings the Heat

If you’ve been playing at online casinos in the United States or other grey market jurisdictions for very long, you’re probably already rather familiar with Realtime Gaming, the company that provides the software that powers Slots Inferno. Since the late 1990s, RTG – as they are known to many players – has been one of the stalwarts of the online gambling community, offering software to big and small sites alike throughout the world. Today, that software package can feel a little dated, but it is still rather well regarded, particularly when it comes to the variety of games offered by the company.

This starts with their slots selection. For many people, the Real Series was their first introduction to the world of online slot machines, and quite a few players still love playing these titles today. If there is an industry standard for Internet slot machines, the Real Series is likely it, as the basic graphics package and framework that powers all of the games still provides excellent gameplay and a nearly endless variety of themes for players to choose from.

That said, these machines are rather old now, and they have been surpassed by pretty much every major software developer at this point – though they can still be fun to play. Thankfully, RTG has also been hard at work developing new games to supplement those older titles, further expanding their collection. Some of the best slots you can play here are:

  • Jackpot Pinatas
  • IRIS 3000
  • Shopping Spree
  • Shopping Spree II
  • Jackpot Cleopatra’s Gold
  • T-Rex
  • Victory
  • Crazy Vegas
  • Funky Monkey
  • Sevens and Stripes

Table Games, Video Poker Selections Impress

RTG is also known for the fact that they have created a lot of games over the years. This means that in their video poker and table games selections – areas that some other developers have largely ignored – they are among the leaders in terms of how many unique games you can choose from. As with their slots, these games are not always the prettiest, but they are faithful recreations of the machines and tables you know and love.

In terms of table games, everything you would expect to find in a real casino is here, along with some additional surprises that you may not be as familiar with. Whether you enjoy blackjack, roulette, craps, or like finding unusual proprietary games you’ve never played before, this collection should have you covered. Here’s a sampling of the games you’ll find here:

  • Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Caribbean Hold’em
  • Vegas Three Card Rummy
  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • Craps
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Casino War

Interestingly, the roulette games and craps are all located under the specialty tab. That’s not all you’ll find there, though: this is also the place to look if you like some of the more casual, instant win style games like keno, bingo, or scratch cards.

Another strong area for this site is its video poker area. Few operators offer more machines than you’ll find here, as there are more than 15 different titles to choose from. Whether you want a player favorite like Jacks or Better or something unusual like Mystery Bonus Poker, you’ll be set here. A few of the other games on offer include:

  • Deuces Wild
  • Joker Poker
  • Pick’em Poker
  • 7 Stud Poker
  • Sevens Wild
  • Aces and Eights
  • Bonus Poker

Big Promotions, But Little Information

It’s common for online casinos to be a little less than forthcoming with their information when it comes to their promotional offers, hiding many of the details on their terms and conditions page. But usually the information is at least consistent, which we can’t say for Slots Inferno. For instance, their website advertises a 400% matching bonus worth up to $1,000 – but we couldn’t find any more specifics about this bonus anywhere on the site.

On a hunch, we looked for a promotions page, and managed to discover one that displayed the same three-tiered welcome bonus that many related sites also use. This is also referenced specifically on their terms of use page, so it seems that this is still in effect here as well. This offer will give you a $980 bonus if you make a first deposit of just $20. It is then followed up with promotions on your second deposit ($425 in free funds if you deposit $25) and again on your third ($270 free if you put $30 into your account).

These bonuses come with a few wrinkles you’ll need to be aware of. The playthrough requirements are rather large: 120x on the first, 60x on the second, and 30x on the third. You’ll also only be able to play slots in order to clear these promotions. Finally, there is a maximum cash out of $200 on each, so that will limit just how much you stand to earn if you find yourself on a hot streak while playing through the promotion.

Deposits and Withdrawals

In many ways, banking is not a strong suit of Slots Inferno. It starts with a system that only provides a handful of ways to deposit or withdraw money, with even fewer of these options available to Americans.

Let’s start with depositing. Here, international users have the option of using a couple of e-wallet programs, but these companies no longer accept American customers. That means only the credit card options can be used in the USA. The complete list of payment methods includes:

  • Neteller
  • Click2Pay
  • Visa
  • MasterCard

Withdrawals offer an even more limited menu of choice. Again, international users have the option to use those same e-wallets in order to collect their winnings, but Americans are stuck with only mailed checks to receive their funds. Wire transfers are also mentioned, but the site says that they are not currently available, and it is unclear when (or if) they will return. The complete list of cash out methods is as follows:

  • Neteller
  • Click2Pay
  • Check

That’s not the only problem with withdrawing money, however. There have also been numerous problems brought up in the past by players who have had various issues. In general, these players report getting the runaround when asking about why their withdrawals have yet to be processed, with some citing lengthy delays while others claim never to have received their money at all. We cannot independently verify the veracity of these claims, but the large number of them – both for Slots Inferno and some other associated sites – suggests that there is a serious and widespread problem here.

Software Options

Looking at the website, you’ll quickly see that there are two ways to access the Slots Inferno casino. The first is to download a software program to your computer in order to install it on your computer. This can be a convenient way to get all of the games here right onto your desktop, but keep in mind that this software is only designed to be used in Windows.

Rather than trying to make this program work in other operating systems, many users may prefer to use the instant play, no download platform that can be opened right on the casino’s website. This works in any operating system, and just about any modern web browser, making it perfect for Mac users, Linux users, or really anyone else who doesn’t like the idea of installing gambling software on their computer.

One thing you won’t see on the site is reference to a mobile-friendly casino. However, it turns out that there is support for common devices like the iPhone or Android smartphones. If you attempt to log into the website from your device of choice, you’ll be directed to a mobile-friendly lobby, from which it is possible to play a smaller selection of slots and other titles.

Reputation Burns Any Potential

You can probably guess that we’re not going to recommend Slots Inferno due to the problems some players have reported when trying to cash out their winnings. That’s not to say that there aren’t positives here: we’re always fans of the RTG software, for instance. But there’s also a lot not to like even when you get to the banking issues: a lack of transparency about the casino’s promotions, for instance.

Overall, Slots Inferno is simple a poor casino even by the somewhat lower standard of sites that are built for the US market. There are many better USA-facing casinos out there, so there’s no reason to play here – or at any of the sites associated with this one, most of which suffer from the same endemic issues.
