June jackpot

On June 4 at 6:23pm, a player from Trenton, New Jersey, spinning the reels on a Hard Rock Bet platform experienced a life-changing moment, winning almost $2m on an online slot.

The unnamed winner struck gold on Atomic Slot Lab’s Hot Rod Hog; Hard Rock revealed that the $1,937,382 bonanza arrived courtesy of just a $2 stake.

Biker-pig themed Hot Rod Hog comes with a below average RTP of 95.49%, but includes 10x wild multipliers and a 10,038x max win threshold.

The online casino, however, offers eligible slot players the chance to participate in its proprietary jackpot system across four progressive tiers.

What this means is that such players can strike it lucky without the need to hit the bonus round or trigger big-win multipliers, or any other jackpot features connected to slots like Hot Rod Hog.

Side bet attraction

Hard Rock Bet stated that by opting in for $0.20 per spin, players like the fortunate winner have the chance to hit jackpots from Mini to Mega as any eligible spin brings a random chance of winning, making playing popular slots like Hot Rod Hog potentially even more rewarding.

Last week’s $1.9m winner came less than a month after a player named Deborah won over $1.94m via a $1.20 spin courtesy of the same Hard Rock platform on Octoplay’s Bag the Swag: Hold & Win.

excited to continue delivering these unforgettable moments for our players”

Hard Rock Digital’s Vice President of Casino Rich Criado said that with the June 4 win, seeing a second Mega jackpot trigger within a month “speaks to the excitement and momentum behind Hard Rock Bet jackpots.” Criado added: “We’re thrilled for our winner and excited to continue delivering these unforgettable moments for our players.”

Another big win, this time direct from a slot not tied to any third party jackpot system, also came in June on a slot created by Malta-based Yggdrasil Gaming.

The company took to LinkedIn to congratulate the €60,468 ($69,859) winner on the Raptor DoubleMax score:

Yggdrasil stated the big win came via the slot’s Free Spins round, with the gameplay clip on LinkedIn revealing that the player had bet €20 ($23) and had landed a series of multipliers.

Yggdrasil’s Raptor DoubleMax slot is no stranger to massive wins, making its January 2026 release of Raptor 2 Doublemax even more significant.

Question of time?

Raptor 2 Doublemax uses the firm’s same signature DoubleMax mechanic as the original, with the win multiplier doubling with every cascading win without resetting in the bonus.

The sequel, however, starts out on a 5×3 grid that offers 243 ways to win, with the reel expanding up to 5×7 and increasing the ways to 16,807 during the Free Spins round. With a strong 97% RTP and a max win ceiling of 9,493x, it’s only a question of time before a player exceeds the original’s €60k win on Raptor 2 Doublemax.
