Jennifer Lopez will still receive a guaranteed $1m for every show at her upcoming Las Vegas residency despite many tickets still being available. She is set to perform a dozen times at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The first of a dozen “Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas” shows will take place on December 30 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

there’s a chance that all the shows might not go ahead

A look at the residency’s Ticketmaster page shows plenty of tickets still available, starting at $79.95. A source told NewsNation there’s a chance that all the shows might not go ahead, as the “tickets are just sitting there.” The New Year’s shows will be easier to sell due to the higher traffic levels compared to the run in March.

The source went on to say that the 12-show run is a way to gauge the interest level in Jennifer Lopez before a property makes a longer-term commitment. The 56-year-old was in talks with MGM Resorts last year about a possible Nevada residency that could have earned her $90m. Poor sales figures for her tour reportedly led MGM to exit the discussions in March 2024.

JLo has a track record in Sin City. She had a residency at Planet Hollywood between 2016 and 2018 that grossed $102m.
