Alex Pratt, the Managing Director of Clarion Gaming, has confirmed that the company’s annual casino and iGaming expo, ICE, will take place in Barcelona starting in 2025. The event will relocate from London, its home for the past 12 years.

Pratt explained that Clarion will also move all its ICE and iGB affiliate conferences to Barcelona in 2025 for at least five years. He described the process as “complex,” adding that he feels Barcelona is “the city that our customers believe is best equipped to be our strategic partner for the future and is able to host two world-class events.”
The move is no small undertaking with Clarion already booking 40,000 hotel rooms in Barcelona for ICE week 2025 (scheduled for January 20-22, 2025). It is a huge event, to be hosted in the 240,000-square-metre exhibition space at Fira de Barcelona.
Barcelona was selected from a shortlist with Madrid, Paris, and London.
However, it’s not all bad news for London conference-goers. iGB L!VE will move to London in 2025 and there are still the 2024 editions of ICE (February 6-8) and iGB Affiliates (February 7-8, 2023) before Barcelona takes over.
