“LaLiga is one of the most popular leagues across the globe, and we are thrilled to be able to bring our valued customers up close to this important league,” said Valentin Birnstein, General Manager of RSI Colombia. “We are committed to providing RushBet players with top-tier content and high-quality entertainment, and expanding our partnership with LaLiga helps to achieve those objectives.”

RushBet served as LaLiga’s partner in Colombia during the 2021-22 season and is now expanding to the entirety of the continent. The deal will run from the start of the season this weekend through the next three campaigns.

Rush Street grows with RushBet

RushBet will receive intellectual property of Spain’s top two divisions, LaLiga Santander and LaLiga Smartbank. It will also be granted access to the use of team images, badges, names, player likenesses, and competition logos.

Another important part of the deal allows RushBet to partner with former LaLiga stars. The retirees will be made brand “ambassadors” who promote the use of the sportsbook.

Select RushBet customers will also get to hang out with ambassadors during meet-and-greets and other activities. This will drive engagement as well as awareness for the new partner.

Furthermore, the operator will receive various memorabilia, including game-worn jerseys, match balls, and other equipment that can then be given away at sponsored events.

In addition, Rush Street and LaLiga are combining to create “Money Can’t Buy Experiences” packages. Customers will be able to win paid-for trips with VIP access to important games, such as El Clasico, also known as the FC Barcelona-Real Madrid matchup.

LaLiga reaches the fans

The late-week announcement symbolizes another move in Rush Street’s plan to expand within the gaming market. After RushBet’s success in Colombia last year, they will now have the opportunity to sponsor one of the world’s top leagues across an entire continent full of diehard fans.

South America also birthed several top talents in LaLiga, including Argentinian Angel Correa, Brazilian Vinicius Junior, and Uruguayan Federico Valverde.

Closing the geographical gap between the league and South America was a consideration of the new partners.
