New market entry

GAN has announced that its new client, Penn Interactive, has launched its new social casino app, powered by GAN’s Simulated Gaming Software. The mychoice social casino app will be completely integrated with Penn National’s mychoice loyalty program that currently boasts more than 20 million members.

players will now have access to GAN’s Simulated Gaming in 100+ different casinos

As part of the offering, players will now have access to GAN’s Simulated Gaming in 100+ different casinos across the country. There are already 16 other casino operators in the United States that use GAN’s specialist software.

Reaction to the launch

Talking about the launch was GAN chief commercial officer Jeff Berman. He said: “We are proud to have been selected by a genuine giant of gaming to upgrade their long-standing B2B social casino offering with a uniquely diverse Simulated Gaming content portfolio accessed via an enhanced custom front-end development and a full integration into Penn National’s market leading reward program.”

Berman believes that the unique technical capabilities of GAN can help with online convergence for Penn Interactive’s carded patrons.

Penn Interactive head Jon Kaplowitz spoke about how GAN is an ideal partner to provide the free-to-play social casino app and allow loyalty members to rack up points when playing. He said: “The combination of GAN’s great team and proven ability to deliver quality products makes them an ideal partner for Penn.”

GAN making strides

GAN is a leading provider of gaming software-as-a-service that mainly focuses on the land-based casino sector in the US. Simulated Gaming is one of the main parts of GAN’s offering, allowing casinos to offer social gaming options in states where iGaming is legal. It is an effective marketing tool, maximizing the revenue opportunities for both GAN and operators.

Penn National is the biggest casino operator in the country that works with GAN in the area of social gaming. Penn Interactive looks after the retail sportsbooks, iCasino, bingo, and social casino offerings for Penn National. Earlier this year, GAN went public via an initial public offering (IPO).

Over the past week, GAN has also linked up with Route 66 Casino and the Cordish Gaming Group as it looks to allow operators to offer social gaming in states where real money iGaming is soon to be legal.
